After flirting with the idea of leaving last season I came back but as evidenced by my lack of activity my heart really isn't in it. Hopefully a new FOF release can get me hooked and I'll come crawling back but for now its a disservice to the team and the league to stay on. I find the convenience of other, newer text sims (namely OOTP) make it much easier to keep up with things when real life makes things difficult. Sadly, the charm of FOF seems to finally have been outweighed by the busyness of real life.
I wasn't the most vocal member, but I had some good times through the almost 6 years in the league. I remember my first transaction as GM of Lansing like it was yesterday. It was the 2004 draft and i woke up really late on that Saturday morning as I was in college and VERY hungover. Without much thought i drafted DT Sean Bratzke with the 6th overall pick. Nothing flashy, and he ended up being a huge disappointment in Lansing, but the good times kept rolling. From the Crespo trade, Todd Terrell injury, to the Hamilton trade, followed by Jarvis doing his Jerry Rice impression, to the realization that it had to rebuilt it was all good fun. Not to mention the board banter, trading, and of course the draft. What keeps this league going is not FOF but the GM's. You guys make the experience, and a great experience its been for me. I can easily say that this is the best sim league I've ever been in.
I'll drop in every now and then. And if a new FOF is ever released you can almost guarantee I'll come crawling back. Take care guys.

You will be missed. Taking out Todd Terrell was one of my favorite games in IFL history. : )
Awww, that sucks Morellomre but I do understand. This game needs a complete rehaul. It has definitely aged over the years and it's warts are starting to show.
I'm not here to win or lose anymore. More so just to hang out with everyone. You should stick around, not worry about winning or losing and just have fun! You will be missed bro.
Sorry to see you go morellomre you're right the game needs a challenger in the rng game. C'mon how hard is it to roll the d20 on hail-marys...hahahaha later yo
tough to see you go morellomre. You've been around here for, like you said, 6yrs. We've made a few significant trades.....well, for my team anyway. The Crespo trade. The Burger Trade.
If I had my choice, I'd make you stay. .
please don't be a stranger.
AND
when you miss us and realize how much fun we all are, feel free to come back. Gonna miss you in the drafts too!

Oakland will be back. I have a decent team finally even if I have no clue how I will afford them next season.
Ahhh, No. I thought the bias to the passing game was over. I see it's not. Qb/Rec/Rec/ still OWNS the day. I'm out. if 3 players can determine the entire outcome I'm not playing along. Peace out all!
Of course it is QB-WR-WR bias. Thats what all the good NFL teams do to win. RBs are a dime a dozen. The History of the NFL is littered with great QB-WR-WR combos. Thats what made great teams, great. Add in a decent #3 and look out.

P.S............that was a joke to get DG warmed up for the offseason! He's been way to quiet!
Its okay you will quit and unquit every year because thats about the only thing your good at.
I see you in the other thread whineing and crying like usual. You werent even expected to win that game. You weren't even the favorite in your own house in a playoff game. Give up the crying a better team beat your ass. Gotta get old writing the same old drawn out rant about how you lost and its bull and its the games fault and you dont understand why your losing. Would you like some cheese with that whine?
