I'll be back. My "honeymoon" with this game is definitely over. I spent a lot of time gameplanning this season and for a while I thought I was making a difference but as it turns out I don't think it had nearly the impact I thought. So, that's disappointing but not a big deal. I think this is a great league and I'll just take a more casual attitude about gameplanning and winning games

big red bars make a lot of difference. I would never judge your work based on 1 or 2 seasons. It takes a long time to win consistently.....and even then, sometimes things don't work out. Just have fun.

I find things outside the game to keep me interested.... five years ago I couldn't change colors on a picture, now, even though I use the free platform GIMP, I've taught myself some decent "Photoshop" skills. And it helps me keep occupied since I'm "retired." The game itself has lost some of the bang for the buck, but I too think it takes years, and I mean like eight sim seasons, before a team that's rebuilt through the draft, is competitive. My only problem is that when you build through the draft, a patch comes along and changes the darn strategies and changes your team's chemistry. Like before the last patch, a good long balling qb with good sense rush and read defenses and a few fast wideouts, and you could win. Now, not to so much.

It is still fun though..just not the giggle filled experiences from seasons past...
