138 win HC Rapaport O play calling - Good, D play calling - Excellent

Rookie HC Pomeranz D playcalling - Very Good, O play calling - Very Good

That should be a wash, with both teams getting better calls on the D side.

    ridiculous today, just ridiculous

we aren't that dreaded anymore. If Hartford had 10 more seconds on the clock, they would have forced overtime. We were hanging on by a thread in the second half of this game.

and another thing. I have not had MY gameplan executed since the last upgrade. I have started from scratch, used the canned ones, ect... every week my gameplans are Rexed.

I have no clue why. refrained from bitchin' about it until now though.

And that for all intents and purpose was the end. Vancouver goes on a tear scoring 21 unanswered points and the division lead.

I'd love to meet ya at full strength but GG Mark.
That sucks Jave, sorry about that and gg anyway. Donovan was slicing and dicing my defense, going 8 for 8 before he went down. The way he was leading your offense, It was highly unlikely we could've kept up with you.

The injury to Donovan reminded me that we are one injury away from complete disaster. And we've had no success at all beating Reno, which comes to town next week. They've won 8 in a row against us. But it is cool to have a good shot at the division!

I watched the end of the Reno-Orlando game, that was very entertaining. And one of the undefeated teams goes down - so what is the best reg. season record ever in the IFL? I can't find it in the almanac.

Go to Global Game Options, open it, go to Edit Global Options, check NO to Coach Resets Gameplan.

            That should help.

Wow thanks Tarcone. I guess Jim "upgraded" that for everyone huh.

Any of the others need ticked in a particular way? I only play IFL on the laptop, well IFL only on FOF2k7 anyways.

Oh and away from my gripping - tough break Jave. I know how that feels. On the upside that should not be a career impacting injury for a QB, but I have no clue how FOF2k7 handles it.

Congrats, Matt! The NC East, and maybe the NC, is yours now.

I'm totally confused and pondering a Phantoms defensive player fire sale in the off-season. Opening FOF for 15 minutes each Saturday to get a last minute gameplan in isn't clearing things up for me either - strange.

Good teams find a way to win regardless....you earned the win bro. I'm still gonna try to keep up but with no pass defense, and no pass offense, not looking good. Regardless it was still a good game. We just didn't plan on having Donovan go down so my gameplan needs a complete rework now.

My favorite plays of the day happened in the Newark/Lawrence game.

1-10-LAW20 (4Q: 12:32) Roderick Amos sacked by DE Chad Banks and DE Stephen Brigham for a loss of 6 yards. Sack allowed by Deron Tjandranegara. The ball was fumbled and recovered by NWK Chad Banks on the LAW14.

1-10-LAW14 (4Q: 12:17) Dwight Burger pass completed to WR Rob Ficken for 8 yards. Tackled by CB Sherman Shawwa. Ficken gained 1 yard after the catch.

2-2-LAW06 (4Q: 11:45) Roger Sherman ran a draw inside the right guard for 3 yards. Tackled by S Monty Wollmuth. Key block delivered by Norman Enright.

1-3-LAW03 (4Q: 11:06) C.J. Rambo ran around the left tackle for 1 yard. Tackled by DE Willie Bohannon.

2-2-LAW02 (4Q: 10:32) Gary Jamison ran inside the right tackle for 2 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! Key block delivered by Kennedy Marsh. Newark 23, Lawrence 9

(4Q: 10:32) Extra point by Butch Schulz was good. Newark 24, Lawrence 9

Uh-oh. Looks like the blowout is about to happen. Then:

(4Q: 10:26) Butch Schulz kicked off 59 yards from the NWK30. Dana Glover returned the ball 18 yards to the LAW29. Tackled by Jamie Williams.

1-10-LAW29 (4Q: 10:02) Roderick Amos pass completed to WR Arnold Greene for 45 yards. Tackled by CB Nolan Lawson. Greene gained 5 yards after the catch.

1-10-NWK26 (4Q: 09:44) Bake Amos pass completed to WR Arnold Greene for 26 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! Newark 24, Lawrence 15
(4Q: 09:44) Extra point by Ross Gaudio was good. Newark 24, Lawrence 16

Not so fast my friend. Nothing like a 2 play 71 yard drive.
