Wind was definatly a factor in Anchorage which is wierd considering the Lynx play in a dome. Lynx ran the ball down the Warthogs throat to open the game then just kept pounding the ball after gaining a 23-0 lead. Warthogs fought back with a 2 min drive at the half and 2 3Q TDs. Had the ball down by 8 halfway thru the 4th and could not pull it out. Evil Lynx grabbed Alberts toe and shoved it into the turf. Didn't help that Fresno had lost SS Fredrickson earlier. Of course Lynx only suffered one injury and Ramsey stayed in the game to punish Fresno.

Let early momentum go when Lyns were stopped after Foley pinned them deep, then proceeded to do next too nothing and Oksenberg missed a 47 yarder which is well within his range when the doors are closed at that dome. IFL should investigate this - lol

Lynx definatly got some Colt calls as they were hammered with penalties late after the game was decided. Of course last Warthog penalty wiped away a 60+ yard gain that would have given Fresno ball around the Lynx 30 inside of 1:00 down by 8 - lol

Odd twice after offensive holds wiped away gains and left Warthogs 1-20 Fresno got nominal gians on the following 1st down leaving 2-15+. Both times Lynx D was expecting runs and both times Warthogs delivered runs to no effect. Leaving 3rd and 15+. Kinda did not like that and certainly noticed it mattered not that Warthog D was expecting run when Anchorage was pounding the ball down Fresnos thoat - lol

yeah some of those plays left my head scratching. We were lucky to win. How did schwartz go out on a turf toe...makes you wonder oh wait the random number kills in these games hahahaha. less penalties on my side equals a better school...

Good game, Arizing. We got the breaks this week, especially on special teams. Our return teams were just compiling the yardage.

This was a great way to start the season. Last year it took us 8 games in to win our first and it was against Vermont. GG Coder.

I was most pleased with our D line. They really gelled in this game and we finally got a solid performance from all four of them. My favorite stat was holding Vermont to 22 yards in 4 possessions in the 4th quarter vs. our 170 yards and 17 points.

We are in high spirits and ready for another home game against the Firebirds!!

GG Vito...Thought I had a chance until the 2nd half because you just wouldn't put me away. Too many squandered opportunities inside your 40. Now back to game planning for this new patch. Wow...Vancouver...who'da thunk it?

                        GG Dakota.

A nice suprise in Lansing. Looks like Ward is the real deal; between him and Guthrie we can control the ball and stay competitive (246 total yards, 3 TDs). Strong (6-49) had a nice, if quiet debut and DeWitt had a strong game (27/37 261 2TD 1INT). Defense needs some type of pass rush (0 sacks) and OLine needs to protect DeWitt (4 Sacks allowed). Still, something to build on here.

I'm still pretty geeked about this win today. It was a great debut for Jamison. I've always liked my offensive line and always wanted a stud RB to run behind it. Move over Alan crespo, we've finally gotten the replacement we've been waiting for.

My defense was pretty good today too. I can't wait until next Sunday!!

GG Montreal. I think we played a solid game. Offense and defense did well, special teams played out of their minds. We were just outmatched by a very good team this week (and that's tough to say since they're a division foe).

No reason to hit the panic button yet, but it looks like we're gonna have a tough time making the playoffs with these guys in the division.
