Did you see Portland won their game on a 49 yard TD pass on the last play of the game?

And Orlando wins in a huge upset.

Not real happy with the offense. Running game was average, pass game had its moments, but overall just ok.
      Defense played great though.

The Warthogs are definatly Not Ready For Prime Time - lol

Lions dominated Fresno. Not really closer than the score either. Schwartz was 23-33 210 and 2 TDs and Score was only 17-21 Lions when with 11:06 left in the third the "very familar" message appeared. Schwartz finished the game 5-16 23 and an INT and Penn scored 21 unanswered points. Lions ran in the 4th and passed whenever they pleased.

Call of the game goes to Nathan Rappaport though. Down 7-3 with 12:09 left in second facing 4th and 1 at their own 34 Warthogs HC went for it and got the first down. Fresno went on to score a TD on the drive for a temporary mid second quarter 10-7 lead.

Penn got 14 points off 2 Warthogs TOs against 7 points Fresno got on the lone mistake Cavazos made all day.

Loom flipped the field twice in the second half crushing any chance of a Warthog comeback

Excellent game by the Lions and Fresno goes back home for a couple before finishing in LA

Iowa City knocked us out of the game before we could even get started. Came back to tie in the 4th quarter only to watch the Snipehunters drive down for the winning score.

Why the heck were we in so much bump and run and man coverage....that isn't our game.

GG Coder ... a hard fought game. Not sure it would have been the same result if Virgil had started.

My team keeps surprising me week to week. This is not a team with playoff material, yet it keeps hanging in.

we came out and had a fast start, but you came very close to win this game. My kicker made a 50 yd field-goal, when it really counted, although IWC struggled with long FGs all season

Our rookie DT Linthicum got his first start after a season long injury to the hammy. He lined up real nice next to Torres and got a sack in his first game. Big win for us. It is all about pride going from here on out. See if we can't start getting some rythm going that takes us into next season.

Cavazos surely was incredible in this game and it was the story of the game.

GG to Fresno and good luck the rest of the way

                      Question

First, 2 POTW candidates this week for the Whales! We finally are showing some signs of life in Vancouver. However, the competition gets tougher the last 3 games.

Anyway, to the question - I've got several 10-11 yr vets whose ratings have dropped by 7 or more points during this season. Does this mean they are basically done, or is any kind of recovery possible after the season? Thanks

What kind of volitility do they have?

I have seen a tendancy for older players to dive if they're not playing.

Oddly, the three's volatility are all different - High, Avg and Low. They are all reserves though (but not inactive). Is this a clue they might retire or is there no real rhyme/reason. 2 are mentors so I'd like to have them around, but if they get so crappy then I probably better unload their salaries.

lmao. I don't know what to expect out of this team. We looked awful early on, then we managed to pull a come-back outta of our arses. Sorry lansing I'm speechless...;0

If we somehow win out we might still have a shot at that last wild-card spot. Should be an interesting 3 games out...hopefully we can gameplan better than we have.
