Lawrence Wiggins didn't take long to excite the fans in SLC!

Yeah, he broke the game open for us---VAN seemed to quit after he returned that kickoff for a TD---he was responsible for great field postion all game.

Found a HUGE error in my offense -- at least in the approach I meant to take this season. That Killer Whale defense is pretty damn good btw---don't sleep on them people.

I've fixed my oversight on offense---Jacobs should play way better next week.

Yikes, IWC's defense is nasty!!! I hope the home crowd is loud next week...

Warthogs got to Caro on 3rd and 14 for a 6 yard SAC and for some reason that slacker WR Novack grabbed the ball and returned it 29 yards for a FD just outside the RZ. Arrugh! think that led to one of the missed FGs by Portland though.

Fresno inability to SCORE led to this defeat. Gotta get the ball over the line to win games. Kicking 4 FGs makes Warthogs competitive losers

SS Fredrickson was robbed 15T 2a 3FF and not even nominated for DPoW

Thought Fresno had a chance when Warthog D was familar with Seal pass play with 10+ mins left in second quarter. Third down was a gimmee for Caro all day long

Home opener next week hopefully the fans show up.

No point in shooting our r.wad in week one when all it took to win was 3 points. We saved some offense for later.

That has to be a record in the IFL for sure.
That was a crazy field goal. When you lined up to kick it, I thought I was going to have great field position after the miss. But he cranked it through. I thought it was going to be the turning point of the game for you, especially with how your defense was playing. I just didn't think we were going to be able to come back unless we had a complete turnaround, and that basically happened in the first half.

Your defense was stiff on my first 3 possessions...couldn't move the ball more than 12 yards...and then all the sudden, you couldn't stop my run game. Getting the INT late in the first half helped a great deal, but your team didn't give up. This was a great game for the division rival. I expect a tougher sell when we head to Oakland for the Equalizer game.

Glad to walk out with a win. This reminds me of my first win with SLC last year. They spanked us in game 2. Just have to win these division games.

It was a weird game. We were able to move the ball fairly well, gaining 407 yards of total offense with a QB starting who had significant rust. We fumbled the ball in your territory and missed two field goals inside the 40 yard range. Sucks to lose a game that way, but we did have some positives.

Congrats SLC. Have to admit I'm disappointed it wasn't at least closer. 5 turnovers and SLC's avg starting position on our 45yd line pretty much sums it up. Xavier is going to find himself on the bench quick if he keeps throwing INTs. Of course it is my fault for having him throw 54 times - not sure what went wrong with that game plan.

Started off my IFL career with a solid victory against Boston. Our offense played well in all aspects, totaling up 484 yards. Was even usually able to convert on 3rd and longs. Our defense needs some work, but hopefully we can tweak some things and get the most out of our lackluster secondary.

Mules played solid this week. Pick up where we left off last year before the loss to WV. Glad to get this division win.

We got embarassed today. If things don't turn around in prior to the trade deadline look for some big names to move.
