looks like Hugh Whiting's rookie record of 34FG's is going to drop.

Montreal's rookie K Allen Bailie already has 29 FG's made

Madison is one tough f'n team to play!

Maybe the best punter in the game if today was no fluke. SIX punts inside my 20 and at least 2 inside the 5!!

I got to see first hand why they're the best turnover team in the IFL as they not only forced and recovered my fumble but they also recovered their own sole fumble and brought it forward 40 yards for a TD!

Stanfield had 274 passing yards in the 1st half and it amounted to only a 14-14 tie. As a team we had 163 yards to their 8 when it was a 7-7 tie. Quicksand I tell ya... It's like running out of quicksand!

        AMAZING GAME, BOSS!!

I was wondering who the hell Cory McInturf was when they kept showing the passing leaders in Solo-Vision.

Looking deeper I see that whoever is behind center in Boston should thank the IFL gods for WR Josh Sullivan who miraculously has converted 19 of 23 3rd down passes thrown his way this season. Not a very famous stat but one of the most important and his production in this area alone puts him in contention for best WR of 2014 in my book. 82.6% over the course of 23 targets at the most important time in the games = INSANE!

I wonder how many of the 4 that didn't convert were not his fault such as blocks from the DLine or bad passes from the QB.

That's why he has 2 rings and I have none. I didn't even know that was a stat......

Wow. I can say I didn't expect that!

McInturff wins player of the week honors in his first IFL start. Defense knocked Perkins out early and we just cruised from there.

AC East is going to come down to week 17 for sure.

Heroes kept Firebirds out of endzone early and took advantage when California had the chance.

                      Drops hurt Montreal as well.

I did not deserve to win that game. Salt Lake pretty much owned us.

A 50 yard FG wins it in OT.

9-3 loss to Oakland. Wow, I guess the Toads are not doing so hot eh? Three game home stand, maybe something good happens to break this 4 game losing streak. Or maybe not.

Bad feeling about this one. Prophets were true. Sante picked us apart. Jamison rushed for over 100 yards even when we were looking for the run. Arnie Bogan's name kept getting mentioned, he was clutch for Dakota. We couldn't capitalize on blocked FG's or punts and Collela was either screen pass for minus yards or long pass, not completed. Good game George, bittersweet to watch the Spirit win against us.

Hmm.. with 4 games left, Murfreesboro and Lawrence two of them, and two injured runningbacks, I have a feeling that we will, at best, finish with a 11-5 record..

                                AND STILL MISS THE PLAYOFFS!
