I put off the Phantoms in favor of IFL graphics again this week all the while thinking maybe I could rest on my laurels a little bit and now I see that I have crafty Madison up on the schedule in less than an hour. Oh the irony if I spent all week making the Madison ring while BOSS spent it finding a way to kick my ace in return.

NFK picks off 4 passes but Iowa still manages to win. Ouch!

NFK gets 16 in the first half, Iowa gets 17 in the second half to win by one. Should be an interesting read of the game log. GG.

Ugh, I score 38 against Lawrence only to massively struggle against Hartford just a week later. Oh well, not like I had a chance this season anyway.

Good game Voodoo. Your defense was tough in the first quarter, keeping us from converting third downs. But one thing about the Beasts offense, it just keeps coming at you until a defense cracks. Glad I have Harding. Even though he's not the starter anymore, he can win games. Though, I was a little nervous when he threw that INT in your red zone. Made things a little more interesting than I wanted. Could have put the game away earlier, but instead, had to bite those fingernails a little closer to the skin.

It is great to see my pass rush finally showing itself. It's taken a lot of tweaking this year, but at least I'm getting two sacks a game and a bunch of hurries. I think at one point we had 4 sacks through seven games. DE Kinney is slowly showing why I traded for him. Over the past four games he's had three sacks and nine hurries. Not studly numbers, but if he averaged that over 16 games, he'd have 12 sacks and 36 hurries. Good enough for me.

Now we have to go into Madison for a big matchup. Can't say I'm looking forward to this one. This is a great team that has little problems passing on teams. And I very much doubt that team will lose three in a row. So just have to buckle up for a bumpy ride and hope we can squeak one out. Looking at both of our teams, we look very familiar. I have a feeling that Will Irby will be back for this one.

Definately the "Tale of Two Halves" ... Tough game to lose after being up so much but you played flawlessly in the second half. GG

And.. much like the Jets with Favre... so ends my playoff dream.

I usually bitch about the game mechanics, but in this case I got to see firsthand why Schwartz was picked #1 overall.

                      Sigh.

very happy with our play against the Trojans. Still a lot of work to be done, but very happy to beat such a tough team.
No Bulldog RB is showing himself to be considered the "go to" guy, though my gut tells me it just has to be Crespo.
We did lose our All world LT for a few. Looks like we'll need to figure out a way to keep plugging away.
Looks like my tweaks seemed to have worked a little for our offense. Looking forward to next week against the Voodoo. We don't get to play those guys much.

tough year for the Firebirds. I can honestly say that I like what you've done with the team and it appears as though your cohesion problem is the passing game may be what has led you off your path. Seems like when Given throws 30 passes and under, your team wins. (5-2 record).

What a frustrating game. Cring.....OUTSTANDING gameplan. Just WOW. His defensive line, rated 38, 20 and 59. His linebackers rated 36, 37, 58 and 49 just DOMINATED my offensive line rated 89, 48, 68, 61 and 71. We could get NOTHING going. Natta.

Your QB was fucking AMAZING! Doyle must have had 6 NEAR sacks but Rogers would just step out of the way and fire off another pass for a completion. I was just totally stumped. We could get nothing moving. You stopped our pass, our run...I was screaming at the monitor! For being a 46 rated QB he sure played like a stud today.

Yea, I won the game, but I don't want to play you when you rebuild your team. That was an AMAZING gameplan. I'm gonna have to tweak mine a bit because I must be super predictable. That was a joke!

You can't just look at the game stats on this one.....it doesn't even come close to telling the story. We didn't have this one put away until 30 or so seconds left in the game. I actually feel like I lost this one after watching it. I am totally disappointed in my gameplan. I'm going to make some serious changes for next week.

                              Great game Cring! Seriously.
