Not going to lie I am disappointed with the out come of todays game. If we dont turn the ball over 2 times deep in texas territory we win easily. Also if we coulda punched a couple of those 4 FGs into the endzone instead but hey. I love how my defense played pretty good run defense most of the game besides one huge play then on the final drive i read alot of day light this and that about 5 times in a row he had 10+ yard runs on the final drive to kill the clock and my guys are looking for the run. Must have been break time I dont know. Should have won this game easily.

Big game for us. We needed to win this game badly to stay in the race for a playoffs spot. Mann and Kruse had big games and our defense did a good job too. GG Tarcone

Anchorage scored an unmolested opening drive TD by running the ball. Luckily California withstood this and held the Lynx in check, mostly, for the rest of the game.

Heroes finally scored a TD to take a 2 score lead in the second half, then the first INT of the season, followed by two more INTs as Steiner was trying for the comeback.

Kinda dissapointed at the 23 yard PUNT late in the 4th. Go for it on 4th from there not punt.

Reserve RB Glenn probably assured himself of that role for a while with a breakout game. Schwartz had a respectable game considering he was abused in the first half. Rebounded for a decent all around game against a much better opponent.

C'mon now kobeck you didn't expect to win that did you? ...and thank you for not padding the score on that later punt, you are the best. lmao

I knew we were in-store for a let-down but not that bad. We couldn't get anything going on offense with Steiner coughing it up 3 times. Running game looked promising at first but lost steam in the 2nd half. Surely California isn't that much of a defensive juggernaut are they? HA would be proud in their effort today. Our defense kept us in the game but finally caved in without the support of the offense gelling. 5-1 Boston is next, gonna have to game-plan better for this one. Try to run the ball I dare you...hahahaha.

              lol. You are absolutley correct.

busy day for me, and this game was just one we did not deserve to win. I still don't know how we won with SLC's passing attack on us. It wasn't even funny how easily they threw against us. Somehow by the end of the game, we were able to get pressure and some stops and then were able to cash in.

those Stallions are tough. Last year we got beat by their pass rush. This year they've got a fantastic passing game to go with it.

Oh gosh no did not expect a win today especially after the opening drive. There won't be a game this year that I will be expecting a win cause this D is :shithappens: - lol

23 yard PUNT and I think it was 4th and 1 - just go for it and the win there don't freaking punt. Hand it to the FB and get the yard and the win. FWIW Jim got it right by not kicking the FG at least, but a 23 yard punt - aaaruggh!

And you are correct the Hero D is not that tough, the 3 INTs were the first of the season. Steiner throwing deep against a 3 deep zone.

As for running up the score Glenn tarnished his breakout game by coughing up the ball at the 4 when a TD would have iced the game - lol

FWIW seeing as Fresno cohision was crap anyways I have decided to straighted out the roster and get some guys here that are at least somewhat like the guys I want too have in Hero uniforms. Think I got the OL pretty well straighted out. Was happy that when Venegas went down that Abbey and Boyd? were able to respond - and Beneviste got his first KRBs for California today - yeah!

Well, thanks for the FOF HTML being posted since it seems my game is screwed up somehow.

Looked ugly though, GG Lansing you dominated.

Now I need to figure out what is going on with my game. My batch files didn't seem to be working so I manually copied the Imperial universe files over, and not even that seems to be changing the names in the game. The worst part though is that when I open the MP load game menu my Imperial game is not listed. I checked and all my files are still there, I am not sure what the hell is going on. Will have to figure it out tomorrow I guess.

I dont think you know this game as well as you think then. Texas out-passed you and out-ran you. Better luck next time. Oh, and GG.

not sure what the situation is, but you may have put the imperial files into your Universe directory by accident.

Ugly win but I'll take it. I don't know what's with our red zone scoring attack. We settle for FG's way too much. GG Jave. I thought we were snakebit when you scored near the end of the game. I think you were the first team to run on us the way you did. I thought my Run D was better than that.

Next week is SLC vs. Reno for the division lead. Only the winner of this division will make the playoffs.

We just don't have enough playmakers on either side of the ball to win consistently. Our heavy reliance on youth and major roster shakeup make winning the TO battle very very difficult, in a veteran league. Looks like a respectable 8-8 finish, give or take a win, this year for us.

Defense continues to be impressive. Avg of just under 225 ypg and 13.3 ppg allowed the last 3 wks. Returns and TO's lost us 2 of those 3, however.

Good game IWC, Tracy Norris was the first back to go for a 100 yds on you guys this season and it was W.O.R.K. Excellent defense. They were huge in the first half holding us to 3 FG's when we had a chance to open a big league. Good luck, and see ya wk 17.
It was raining and the ball was slippery. 5 turnovers in the game. Tough luck that 4 of them were WIC's. Nice game, see you at Wichita.
