Just another day in the office for me. I've forced about 5 punts in the past 3 games. I do know a good defense is helped by a good offense staying on the field and scoring, which I also don't have, so yea... another losing season for us.Steve Beans - Houston Renegades

Dear offense,
We sure would like for you to attend a game this season. It sure has been lonely without you. Im sure the defense would appreciate your presence.

The bottom line:
RG Chuck Parrish: Drafted with the 21st overall pick in the 2011 draft. In 3.5 seasons has been totally ineffective allowing a staggering 29 sacks. Grade F
LDE Sean Carlson: drafted with the 5th pick of the second round in the 2012 draft. Has not been able to pressure the QB or stop the run. Has a mere 12 sacks in 2.5 seasons. Has also dropped 12 points since his rookie season. Grade D
RDE Rickey Doyle: Drafted with the 7th pick of the first round in the 2013 draft, has completely disappeared. in 1.5 seasons has an appaling 5.5 sacks. Getting ZERO pressure on the QB and allowing RB's around the league to run over, around and through him. Grade F
RCB Nicky "Nightmare" Doyle: Nightmare, stands for his performance, NOT his play. No one should be scared of him as he is NEVER actually on the field, and when he is, does little anyway. Drafted with the 2nd overall pick in 2012, has spend more time on the injury list then the field. In his 2.5 seasons he has been injuried FIVE times, been placed on IR and has been a complete failure. Grade F
With drafting like this, I don't see Oakland improving for 5 more seasons. I don't know if it's me, if I can't draft for shit, or if it's just bad luck. Teams pass at will, run at will and score at will with no end in sight. Halfway through this season it's over. I am already looking for more inept players to draft to continue the string of losing seasons for Oakland.

We win a crazy game at home over Portland. Wow, Portland scores with 32 seconds left in the game to take a 1 point lead and then we are able to drive 30 yards in those 32 seconds to the 50 yard line and Portland gets hit with a unnecessary roughness that gives me an untimed down at their 35-yard line that we nail to win the game.
Good game Portland. I thought we dominated for most of it, but Caro is a machine that can do a lot with just the little that a defense gives him. And the turnovers we had didn't help either.
And we lose QB Markel for the next four games, so the starting job goes back to Chad Harding by default. He says he will take it.Two-time IFL Champion (2014, 2015)

Wow!
Wow!
And a little wow!
Phantoms/Mountaineers was insane! I turned the solovision speed up to "fast" when we quickly went down by 21 and soon after it was actually a game again.
Great game, Coder!! Perhaps our best yet!
I did feel like Houston though for a spell as the Phantoms had at least a penalty per possession on both offense and defense and ended with 4 first downs given up due to penalty.

Tougher road as predicted by DDT now for the Outlaws.
One team continues to Claw their way atop the AC.

I'm still in shock.. what a game.. most entertaining game of the year in all of IFL? 42-42 after full time, fantastic 2nd half comeback by Lawrence, then they win the toss and score on their first drive in OT.
Can't say you deserve the win, but hey ;-). You almost gave away an entire field in penalties though.. and two picks from Lake.. he likes Stanfield.

Lake's affection is unreciprocated.

I have a tremendous affinity for these Outlaws and look forward to being a winner in this league with many of these players. We just don't have enough playmakers on either side of the ball to win consistently. Our heavy reliance on youth and major roster shakeup make winning the TO battle very very difficult, in a veteran league. Looks like a respectable 8-8 finish, give or take a win, this year for us.
Defense continues to be impressive. Avg of just under 225 ypg and 13.3 ppg allowed the last 3 wks. Returns and TO's lost us 2 of those 3, however.
Good game IWC, Tracy Norris was the first back to go for a 100 yds on you guys this season and it was W.O.R.K. Excellent defense. They were huge in the first half holding us to 3 FG's when we had a chance to open a big league. Good luck, and see ya wk 17.
