Bullshit. If you have a very talented team, you can just rex and you will win at least 9 a year most years. You just suck all round. Basically you are matt millen combined with the gameday skills of a brad childress.

yes, clearly the one responsible for aquiring Jay Caro and Dominic Fields - two of the Seals' most important offensive weapons - is the foremost authority on assembling teams. under his watch not one but two teams are in position to steal the AC West crown from the longtime clutch of the Seals. and the Lynx may make it 3 teams that possibly become new division champs.

Oh...I miss this league.... : )...but I never thought I would be rooting for HA in this argument. I love the Guard pick...He's a monster.

Since the new patch has come out, I actually noticed that defense is a little more beefed up, or at least it seems that way to me in other leagues. That's much better than the way it was before in 2k7 where defense seemed like a bunch of Fisher Price dials and knobs.

That said, I think part of my reason for my lack of enthusiasm here is how long it takes for a season when you're rebuilding, which Hartford most definitely is.

Regarding the G picked at #6. Take into account the OT (Donovan Graham) that fell to me at #26 and the G (Dennis Price) that r00k selected at #27. When picking in the top of the draft you want to nab a position that's not very deep. I loved the Shapiro pick but the G, while great, could've been taken later or a legitimate substitute in the event someone else grabbed him.

I'm glad you decided to stay HA. I must admit I feel a bit of detachment the past 2 seasons and alot of it has to do with no knowing what the hell i'm doing or how to do it. It's gotten very frustrating and yet I see that there are people excelling so I know that it is possible. Is it all about QB and WR? Maybe, but that bores me. That is to say that if the way to win in this game is to do something that doesn't accurately reflect football, then why am I playing this football game? My running game is as good as it's ever been but my team sucks.

Defense of course has a large part to play in that and my secondary talent sucks it's true, but it didn't last year and I wasn't any better.

I've been largely quiet because why bitch, and that's legit all I wanna do is bitch. I'm fuckin trying though.

                  lol

here is my sig from my other league, the team i built myself or at least owned since a year after the league was formed.

                  5 straight division titles
                  2 conference titles
                  1 bowl win
I generally go to the playoffs and I expect to in this league as well. I have had lots of problems with this team so far but none of them involve picking interior linemen before combine freak DEs. Stick around Millen. Your whining excuse making mentality motivates me to put the time in.

Of course, if I do win its because of Caro in your opinion and if I don't I should have because I have Caro. That's because you are a whining excuse maker, generally not the charachteristic of a winner.

Well I have to say this league is strange. The level of QB talent is immense. In a way I don't like it as I like building Ds more than offense and those gaudy league wide passing numbers offend me for some reason.

Glad HA isn't leaving. HA, I too have grown tired of the game as it is. I dropped all the leagues I was in except this one. I am holding on here in hopes of a new version by winter.

I haven't even checked yet, sorry. As I said, I am not into the game it seems, so Checking scores Sunday morning has slid to checking scores Thursday or Friday.....
