Jave, on two of the Kennedy TDs you're blitzing two players. The game might hold double teaming when blitzing to avoid wide open players. Had you doubled Kennedy you would've had 6 players rushing, 2 defending Kennedy, and 3 defenders left for the 4 remaining eligible receivers. Maybe you have to decide between blitzing and double teaming.

I'm just throwing this out there as a possibility. I know the game has it's flaws.

FWIW - I think double teaming might open up running lanes up the middle in FOF just as in real life but it could just seem that way.

I noticed that to. And I just have the rex settings for blitzing however it's still a hella of a coincidence that the times I am blitzing, they get 7 points, everytime. But yea, I am looking into it. Maybe it's just Given is a fucking genius and exploits my blitzing. Hell Manning would spot that shit right off the bat so it's possible, haha.

Word! Andre Thomason sets a new franchise record with 205 receiving yards in a game (14th best all time) and we come back from 13 down to win it with two late touchdowns. We're 3-1, but we started hot last year before we flamed out. At least I'm getting one of my two injured OTs back so I'm not starting a scrub anymore. Bring it on Murf!

I too am getting to the point where I think...why should I gameplan...Double coverage is a joke as well as playing time. Even prevent or 7 coverage is worthless against the long pass. I love my team but am losing enthusiasm...

man, i almost came back from being down 21 pts.

i know i wasn't gonna win all 16 games but i'd have preferred not to have lost to a previously winless Houston team. their QB sucks, my secondary should've been able to stop him all day. any given sunday rears it's ugly head again.

Pfft, your great secondary should have stopped me all day haha. Yea, my team was tossing and turning all night thinking of facing Raymond Klotz, Leo Chrysler, or the ever scary Rex Bush. Bob Bailey is the only good player you have on your defense, so don't be surprised to lose a few more of these type of shootouts this season.

you just missed out on my best DB - my rookie SS. not that he's responsible for covering WR's, but he would've made your QB's day just that much harder. i decided to bring him back next game fully healthy instead of playing him probable and risking another setback.

The blitzing played a big part I think, the game would have to cut out the double with two guys blitzing like jester said. Not that you should be happy about it I guess, but at least it does help explain part of it. Given isn't a bad QB either, like you said.
