Bull crap. We outplayed Lansing. They were lucky to get off their home field with a win.

Well we won. GG Houston.
Not really sure what to think. We started off teriible giving up 2 sacks in our first series and losing 2 O-linemen for a couple weeks, next series threw an int. Then things started working well. Offense was putting points on the board and our defense was good. Then we went back to getting sacked and throwing bad passes. ended up getting sacked 5 times. WTF
.
All in all, it was like watching the Pittsburgh Steelers every week.

Yes I drank that much as I was watching this game not sure what to expect next....:scratchhead:
and the road trip continues as we face the wolkpack....sigpic

GG Cy!
Didn't expect such a easy win today. Thought it would be a battle down to the wire. Everyone played pretty good today.

LOL GG Your right the penalties killed us. I don't know how many holding calls were on us. Defense weak link for us and probably will the entire season.Originally posted by Chris Rex View PostI didn't so much 'win' my game as 'I got screwed SLIGHTLY less by penalties at inopportune times'. It was like the Raiders playing the Raiders.
BTW- Did the update completely turn the running game on its head or something?GM Cleveland Clawz

Open with a defensive tone in win as underdogs against Reno
GG Reno
My defense introduced the Wolfpack rookies to the Imperial Football League today ! 5 sacks, 5 hurries, 6 knockdowns, 2 FF, 1 INT, while giving up only 6 points. The Wolfpack defense and special teams (blocked field goal) was just as stingy but we got it done in front of the home crowd.
Notes:
OLB
Free agent OLB Vinny Shinkle looks to be a filling in for the injured Strait quite nicely. Hope he stays healthy! It'll be nice to see what this D looks like with both of them in the lineup
RB
I really wish one of my deals for a running back came through now---my rookie is not looking too good; then again Reno does have a damn good pair of DTs. If he gives me the same production in the next game---I'm going to be looking to move next year's #1 for a RB.[Vito]Stallion

I'm still down about my loss against Newark. It bothered me more than it should've today. Man, losing games to the Bulldogs pisses me off.

Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner! That said, I apologize for missing the export. I've been crazy busy lately and forgot.Originally posted by Kozure View PostNice solid win over a rebuilding Hartford, but I think the Grizzles forgot to turn in a week 1 export. QB Hickman was on the bench - big mistake for them, big break for us.

After reading the logs, it looks to me like I picked the right QB at the draft. Johnston has played darn well. Posting a 94+ passer rating in his first start, regardless of the outcome is pretty good.

Well I guess you worried for nothing. Damn, I don't understand why this team can't win.Originally posted by BOSS View PostWe get our first look at the Nittany Lions today. I hear that HC Jerry Armstrong will be doing his coaching duties from the press box because of a bad hip.
Should be a good matchup today. I'm curious on how our new defensive coordinator will do today.
We haven't played real well @ home as of late so that kinda has me worried.sigpic

Great question. I was wondering the same thing as I was watching the game. Went back and looked at the game plan and I have him listed in the number 1 slot at 95% playing time. Guess he needs to be listed at 100%?? Is this some kind of joke/bug/etc?Originally posted by BOSS View PostWhy did the #1 pick in the draft only get 7 carries??
