Caro was shit. Secondary was shit. I'm doubtful about playoffs.

Interesting game. I didn't expect much with 2 starters out on my defensive line, but I also didn't expect such a terrible game from Donovan. 3 interceptions? Either he is rusty or Vancouver has the best pass defense in the league.

I also did not gameplan for 40 rushes from Vancouver. However, my team got healthy and next week I will have my full team ready for Houston.

We were 8 point dogs at home and managed a solid win. DT Toby Torres made his presence felt in game one. Vermont only ran 12 times and Toby had one tackle but his true calling game on the pass rush side of the game. He was trully disruptive. 2 blocks a hurry and 4 knockdowns in 36 pass plays. That is a big piece of what we have been missing on D. Now I need Bratzke healthy and the rookie DE Walton to do anything and we should get a enough pass rush and run support to hide our secondary.

This game was won by a great game from Old Man Connell at running back. He carried the ball 30 times and had 7 catches. His 6 first down runs, 3 for 4 on 3rd down conversions and 3 10+ yard carries is what kept our offense moving.

I can't wait for next week. We are 20 point underdogs against Portland on the road. This is going to be fun!!

I wasnt real impressed with our win. The running game was non-existent. That viral infection is tough. Singletons dick must have been hurting all day.
Sanford was good. My rookies all played well. DT Dayoc had 7 tackles and an assist, 1/2 a sack and a block. CB Fyie had 1/2 a sack and an interception. SE Andrews was my leading receiver with 8 catches for 82 yards and 2 TDs. FL Ragsdale had 2 catches for 46 yards.

Im ok with this win. Need the run game back.

what a game against our rivals. We scratched and clawed our way to a victory against the tough Phantoms. Fumbles and penalties hurt the Phantom Phaithful. Happy to come out with an opening day win.

I didn't so much 'win' my game as 'I got screwed SLIGHTLY less by penalties at inopportune times'. It was like the Raiders playing the Raiders.

BTW- Did the update completely turn the running game on its head or something?

Nice solid win over a rebuilding Hartford, but I think the Grizzles forgot to turn in a week 1 export. QB Hickman was on the bench - big mistake for them, big break for us.

Toads had a 20-7 halftime lead only to blow it in the 2nd half. Lots of passing, very little receiving going on, especially in the 2nd half were the offense lost the game more then the defense I think. One of those weird weeks were the offense takes a different direction then expected with 50 pass attempts anyways, so I won't worry too much about a road loss in Texas.

My rookie RT played exactly ZERO plays, is not on my depth chart, and is tired for next week's game.

A tough loss in front of the home fans and a well deserved win for the Dragons. Good game king.

Got some issues to address, for sure. First starting with some inopportune injuries. Second, the defense needs to wake up and then nut up and finally, the offense needs to find some consistency to finish off drives. That's not too much to ask for in one week, is it?

This is definately not a Viper team that is ready to face Texas next week.

Nice debut. Good Game IWC.

Rookie RB Donald Ozguner looked good in the loss. 20/96 and zero fumbles on a nasty day. Whoever said they don't have a RB. Wrong.
We do a nice job vs the pass, and in particular contain the Snipe Hunters best receiver.
My 3 DE's are a small disappointment. Kinney plays well, though.
My Wes Martin 1st Team All-Pro prediction is in good standing. 7 tackles and 2 picks. Robbed of DPotW?
OG Bruce 5/5 with 3 pancakes.
RB Tracy Norris 19/112 2TD. Need to get him more carries.
Scott throws 2 ints; the first late in the second trying to get into scoring range, Not a big deal. The second let IWC back in a game we had control of, AWFUL.

Looking forward to playing @ MAD. Should be a great early season test for us.
