you take one step back to go two steps forward. sure, short term its not profitable, but long term is what i'm looking at. Fresno area doesn't have the demographic to make having a pro team viable. bad economy, little desire for a team. not enough growth population. i wanted to do NY, but it doesn't look like a good destination to bring a team to.

Tradition or not, I would move my team in a heartbeat if the game hadn't given me a new stadium our initial season in the league. The fan support in Oakland has always been crap. Even the year we rolled to the championship game we still never even came close to selling out or pathetic, small stadium. I can't stand Oakland. No wonder Al moved em when he had the chance.

I was referring to the LA move. And actually there is rumor again of him moving the team because the city has not renewed the teams lease.
