As I go over every name in the draft looking for relatives to mooch off of in the future (no luck so far) I thought I would toss out some observations on the names of some draftees.
Brady is a popular QB name this year with Brady Grant, A.J. Brady, Brady May, and Brady Milsom. Anyone want a QB with the name Brady in the 6th round?
Most likely to liven up a fiesta? C D.J. Lam, DE D.J. Oliver and CB D.J. Nixon
Future BFFs of a commish and several owners, none other then OLBs Graham Weedman and Charles Brew.
Name I have no idea to say, Typail Calderon.
Just maybe, the first IFL player of Italian and Japanese decent, FS Gino Okamura.

Pre-signing/pre-training camp, Anderson sure looks like he has a solid future despite his low developed percentage. 22/72 indicates that my scout's indication of "As Scouted" could very well come true. I expect a potential top at around 62-65, but in any case, he will be a very adequate replacement to Million.
One year as a backup behind the mentor veteran, then a starter next year.. At least that's what I'm hoping
.
Now.. if I only had more picks in the top 3 rounds rather than only a second and three picks in the fourth
.

Working like a dog, haven't had time to prep for the draft properly, and he had nice combine scores. I don't expect the guy to look good initially, but I think he'll develop nicely.Originally posted by Cringer View PostI am interested in hearing from Warhammer why he had Goldberg as the #1 WR on his board. I see him as less developed, a little smarter perhaps, pretty even with combine scores.
I didn't interview any of the top three WRs so maybe affinity, over/underrated had something to do with it for him. Just surprises me sometimes what other guys may be seeing.
In other words, I didn't prep for the draft as I should have. Mendenhall was the guy I wanted. Other than that I wanted to trade down, but wasn't around to swing any deals.

And I am saying right now, that draft clock is not correct. I just went on the clock about 20 minutes ago, so I should have until 2:10 PM central time.
That 1:11 Pm Eastern time screws me out of two hours. Mods, don't pick for me until 2:10 or so.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

thanks for the info.
Considering your scout is EXCELLENT with OL and mine is VERY GOOD.
& your scout is AVERAGE in young talent and my is GOOD .... this looks to be a crap shoot & hoping the good combine numbers gives the edge to this being a good pick.
Argot, I can't believe there is that much disparity in the scouted ratings when our scouts have pretty close value ratings. If he's a bust, this scouting thing is for shit!
I will be very confused on how to answer the question: How can a scout that sees a position with a VERY GOOD rating and also has eyes to be GOOD at spotting young talent present an "underrated" report for a player with good combines that indeed is a bust?
Again, thanks for the insight because if your scout is right, and he very well can be, I am not ever going to look at a scouting report again because they are as bogus as hell!
