          Matt,

You totally have my respect for GM of the year. Taking a team from 5-11 and making them 11-5 while going through Crespo shock and aging linemen...you should hold your head high. Snow kept Burger from making a comeback, and once you were down by 10, he couldn't seem to get a rhythm at all. Thought when we gave up the fumble on the punt we were dead early on, but the missed FG in the snow seemed to turn momentum around. Good Game...just wish that we could have had more than half the stadium filled for a PLAYOFF game! 32,000 sheesh. Just why wouldn't the league let me move to Chicago?

In other news, the Spirit rewarded Devon Taylor just before kickoff with a $14 million dollar contract for two more years. If the Spirit win it all, will DT retire?

Congrats to Texas for their first playoff victory in their first playoff game. (Dakota too. )

Roman Bond was a pain in the ass for Ralph Given and the Toadies today. An INT, and big tackle leaving us 2 yards short of a first down late in the game. I am not surprised that we lost, but I am surprised/disappointed in HOW we lost. 3 INTs by Given, two in Texas territory. The pass defense had been playing better in the second half but Chung was great against us. Solid game for Texas as they get revenge for losing the division title in Little Rock last week.

One last note, would the rest of you whores stop picking Little Rock the clear winner in Wild Card games? Thanks.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Tough game with Cleveland. Neither defense decided to show up and the game came down to:

3-6-NFK06 (4Q: 02:59) Reuben Walton pass completed to WR Zach Marek for 5 yards. Tackled by CB Eric Jacobs. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.
                4-1-NFK01 (4Q: 02:20) Hugh Whiting attempted a 18 yard field goal and succeeded. Norfolk 31, Cleveland 27

Deciding to go for the field goal was a critical and fatal decision. After the kickoff, the Vipers were lucky to be able to run out the clock.

Good game, Eckmann. Your team is very very solid.

                Now on to St. Louis.

I must say, no disrespect to anyone else intended, but I feel like R00k is the smartest gameplanner in the league and has the one team i'd rather not face. But if I gotta wipe the floor with ya, I gotta wipe the floor with ya

See ya Sunday. I want MY 2nd ring too damnit.

We probably should have won the game but damn penalties and not going for the td cost us. We had no shot at beating St. louis or Portland so not that upset. We played a great game on offense and it still wasn't enough for our young defense. good luck next round.

                          Congrats TimG!

Andre Watt vs. Arnold Greene next week. Should be interesting.

Very disappointing end to your season (counting week 17 as well).

But losing "Crespo" and being left with "Alan C" at HB was possibly the worst hit to a team in IFL history and you've certainly showed the ability to bounce back from disappointment as has been said already in this thread by Argot.

Another early exit by Little Rock but still a great seasonal turnaround after your horrid start. Congrats on the divisional title (6th of last 7), which still stands in the record books.

well I've cooled my jets a little. It just seems so futile to bring a team to the playoffs and to not show up for the game.
Your line played great, and Taylor was fantastic. Let's see what Dakota can do.

good luck, and thanks for the kind words Argot.
