    "Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

I think this is primarily due to FOF2k7s handling of the defensive coverages. Jim mentioned it was a problem and would need to rehash it. Basically, unless you have a three coverage DB, you are screwed.

    2003 IFL AC East Runner-Up - Wildcard 10-6
    2004 IFL AC East Runner-UP - Wildcard - AC Runner-up 10-5-1
    2005 3rd Place AC East 6-10 2007 2nd Place AC East 8-8
    2006 3rd Place AC East 7-9 2008 2nd Place AC East 9-7
2009 1st Place AC East, Imperial Bowl Champions 13-3

We used FOF2k7 last year too. Something had to have changed in a patch.

Not necessarily. We've all had a year to see how 2K7 works. My overall offensive strategy is different this season based on last.

I'm doing my best to drag that rating down to earth. Just give me some more time and picks.

That could account for some difference, but a +10% increase? I tend to think not.

10% on an entirely new system is not that big a swing. If we had a 10% swing in 2K4 after 4 years or so of "evening out" then I'd agree but 10% after 1 season isn't that great IMO considering my changes were drastic and my record showing I "guessed" right.

I think one factor is that more teams are using a version of the west coast -- higher completion %'s abound. The record for complettion % in a season was set last year by Lozier at 66%. Currently there are nine QBs with a higher pass completion rating of 66% and of these, there are three being over 70%.

There was a big jump in IHOF either last year or a couple of seasons ago, can't remember which. Last season we had one guy that had an absolutely insane season. My point is that the full ramifications of the move to FOF2k7 over there didn't happen overnight either.

Or is 2009 the culprit. There was a steady increase of ratings throughout history, until 2009. If you look at the chart with the steady increase in 2009 instead of the decrease, last season would be about right.

I hope he breaks his leg. I almost wish just for pure entertainment sake that I had traded Martinez to you. That would be fun to watch.
