I'd rather spread the all around, keep good individual stats to a minimum as to keep contract demands down. If this keeps up, Martinez will be asking for a nice paycut next year.

Also, I can't plan who we throw the ball to. Kersey getting the ball thrown his way the most is just a product of a young QB dishing it off to his safety valve. By the end of the year, Harding will be throwing it downfield a little more with good results.

I noticed that Hamilton signed a reasonable contract with Lansing. I didn't need to resign him but I would check every now and again. He was asking somewhere in the 17-20 million a year range. So much for loyalty.

Guys are developing. Its a slow process. Struggled today. But im learning things about players.
I am going to be the eternal optimist about this team, because it is my team. A team that I drafted or picked up young guys. I am developing this team. It is mine.

Positives-- Singleton isnt getting many carries lately, but he is a factor in the pass game. 5 receptions for 65 yards. He had 9 carries for 45 yards.
Jamison had 5 receptions for 83 yards.
Passing with the rookies seems to be good in some areas and bad in others.
Running game solid. Didnt get much chance to use it.

Negatives-- Pass defense terrible, again. Chung lit us up. I need a couple safeties that can play pass defense.

I am guessing I am vying for a top 5 pick. I have 3 or 4 wants that I could fill.
          IFL Champions-- 2016
          NC Champions-- 2015, 2016
NC South Division Champions-- XI 2013-2023
          IFL EoY-- 2013, 2016

Next year, I'm thinking of signing him to a 4 year deal, but I'm also thinking about just waiting until he holds out before resigning him and letting his contract run out, franchising him and signing him to a shortterm deal when he's a 13th year pro. (I don't have the game up in front of me, but I think he has 3 years left on his contract). But a lot of this depends on how well I can get under the cap next year. It shouldn't take much to open up room. One of things is Otey's backloaded contract that ends next year. He jumps from 4.2 million this year to 10 million next year. Will definitely need to resign him or trade him. Not sure yet if I want to make him a permanent fixture on my defense yet. May want to either let one of my younger guys take over eventually, or draft a good replacement in the first round next year.

Rookie QB Andy Finley got the start in Cleveland due to injury. The rook played pretty good. Pretty surprise by the outcome in our game with Wichita.

Wasn't someone telling me McKeown was overrated and he had the lowest average per return? Yea, thats why I picked him up.

So much for putting 100 for double team top WR. I think every time CAL threw the ball to Mullin it was away from double coverage.

                          I hate this game.
