Going to bed, I'll be up again after 11 pm EST.

Suicane, if you need more advice, hit dberner up, we both were draft commisioners in the USFL draft and are familiar with board drafts. I'd offer to help, but I doubt you'll need anyone checking lists at 3 am EST.

I'd suggest Jester, Matt, dberner, and Warhammer to help administer lists if they're willing, but that's ultimately up to you and Jeff. You'll need at least 3, but 4-5 trustworthy guys will make it easier on everyone involved and prevent one guy from having to troll the whole day.

The schedule would look like this Budda:

I'll be trolling more than likely anyways and have no problem helping where I can.

I can't be fairly moving up and down the draft after seeing someone's list though so I'm guessing the way to do it would be to send a PM skipping some lines - as you can see the first on the PM inbox screen - and putting 1,2,3 etc in the title to account for revisions? This way we'd know that we have a list from "so and so" but have no idea what's on the list until we need to.

And if multiple "helpers" are available then the one who's picking farthest from the current pick should check the list?

Will we be making each schedule on a daily basis to allow for some time of non-scheduled progress? Like if in your example Cleveland has already picked by 8:00pm and by the next morning we're already into the low 20's for picks before the scheduled time starts will we be starting at 1.17 or whatever pick we're up to at that time? Is it too much to ask that everyone check the schedule daily to see if it's sped up overnight? We seem to have some midnight streaks of picks.

Not a bad idea. I would be for having the seventh round a "Scout drafted" round. For a few reasons, speed the draft up just a tad. Put more emphasis on having a K and P on your squad prior to the draft, unless you were planning on grabbing a K or P earlier than 7th and also make your "Scout" have more meaning.

Of course it will not happen and shouldn't happen this year, but I like the idea.

I would be against that, bypassing the 6th and 7th rounds. I still look for hidden gems in them rounds.

We outbid each other on undrafted free agents. That's proof that not only is 7 rounds not too many, but not enough.

We arn't bypassing or automating anything. Everyone will have a chance to make every single one of their picks.
