TRIVIA BYTES WEEKEND PREVIEW ... Division Crown and playoff stretch runs continue as a week of inter-conference play is scheduled. Even though there are no blockbusters on tap this weekend, there are several good games to note:

 #11 ST. LOUIS vs. #2 LAWRENCE. St. Louis plays for the second week in a row in the headliner. The Cardinals are trying to erase the experience of the Norfolk debacle, prepare for another power house and find a way to end their losing ways. The Cardinals have lost four out of their last five. Lawrence is looking to retain home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

 #6 VERMONT at # 16 MURFREESBORO ... Both are playoff contenders but the Mules are at the end of their rope. Vermont is looking to strengthen their current position to keep a wild card slot.

 #13 TEXAS visits #8 CLEVELAND ... Both are playoff contenders. Texas, the sweet hearts of the season, need to upset the AC North leading Clawz in order to make a move for a wild card. On the other hand, Cleveland is in the drivers seat in their division and does not want to give the wheel to either Iowa or Wichita.
... devoted to the study of meaningless information ...
... and obviously with too much time on one\'s hands ...

There will be a toast or two in Viper land if we are victorious at Dakota this week.

With a win, Coach Howie Mooberry will celebrate his 100th win in the IFL. Mooberry has devoted all eight years of his carreer to Viper organization and currently owns a record of 99-39. Coach Mooberry has been Coach of the Year twice, has played in five Conference Championship games, three Imperial Bowls and has won two league championships.

For comparison sake, Anchorage Head Coach Nathan Rappaport is second for overall wins with a record of 84-49-1.

The Norfolk organization is super proud of this achievement in a very competitive league.

in what has been a breakout season for WR Nathan Mullin, it's just been confirmed that he broke the record for all-purpose yards in a game, against the Mules. congrats Nathan, on what so far has been an exciting start to your career.

Just to set the record strait, Texas is a 2 point favorite in this game. No upset here buddy! Away game and all. Through no fault of my own, this team is playing pretty good so it should be a good game. Good luck Cleveland.

That particular record and a bunch others have only been tracked for this season (aka since we started using 2k7). I bet he's not even close to the actual record.

My boy at the time, Gaston Lomeli, had 358 all-purpose yards against Tulsa in 2007.

                  ok bye

sorry, 2k7 doesn't recognize your bad player's nonccomplishments. Nathan Mullin is the record holder.

                      please very much thank you.

Congrats on a hell of an accomplishment! (not implying that a win against Dakota is inevitable, just that you will be getting 100 at some point)

Damn, I really wish Kersey was healthy the past five games or so. I think we could have taken a couple more games than I did. We've been playing very well in the second half of this season. Harding has slowly been coming into his own. I think he's going to be a keeper.
