Nice to see Robey rolling. He was easily my hardest cut ever. I love him, and he will be on our wall of fame. Andrew Robey we miss you.

yea ... but Hartford had a off year. They lost alot from last year's championship team.
Boston is going to be a power but has been slow and methodical to find the way. WV is under new management that inherited a mess - that situation looks to be an vast improvement. But I'll take the complement ... thanks.

PS ... I'll still keep Hasty and Welch, even though the stats say something different than what I was expecting.

Hasty and Welch missed a couple games. . .But Trigg and Hovis suffered the last few weeks to a crappy leader who was pissed off. That was fixed this week.

Boss ... the first half was very disturbing .. you ran and passed at will ... and the second half was much of the same. The only saving grace was the three tunrovers ... and clearly this was the difference in the game. If the Vipers didn't get those, you would have won hands down. Unfortunately, it will probably be a long time til we see each other again, unless its in a another bowl game ... that would be nice.

Yeah, good game r00k! I wish we would have run the ball a little more. Without the turnovers it could have been a different game but your team is a good one and they capitalized on them. You had great field position all game.

Anyways, congrats on the victory. Don't mean to jinx you but the 72' Dolphins are getting a little nervous about you trying to equal their undefeated season.

WR Robey is having a career season. had i known he'd put up these numbers i'd have aquired him from the Bulldogs when Matt put him on the block. who could've guessed one of the biggest impact FA signings in the league would have been a 14 yr WR looking for one last paycheck.

intensity, schmensity. some nerds have run tests at FOFC that show simming an entire season with the same gameplan and setting your gameplan differently every week nets virtually the same results with not a lot of variance. gameplanning will be the 15% difference maker that puts you over the top.

Well, one more win for Texas. Puts us at 6-5 and one more win then all of last season. I've got a couple of good teams to play still, but hopefully I'll reach 9-6. Wont get me in the playoffs, but something to build on next season.

the guy is (likely) on his last season, was meant to be a #3 WR *AT BEST* and is busting off 80+ yard td's and scooping up all the scraps thanks to Mullin's double teams. he was signed for a little over $1million. show me another old guy signed for $1million that is making an impact. yeah, we have 4 wins, but he's outperforming his contract. that's an impact signing. in any given game there will be a winner, loser or a tie, that doesn't have anything to do with getting ultra value from a FA pickup. and we're a couple of FG's away from having a .500 record or better, so don't give me this "4 wins?!?!?" nonsense. let's give the Phantoms the toughest schedule in the league and see how well you play.

Not to sound like a broken record, but FOF2k7 hurt this team quite a bit, and we lost a lot of players last year. However, the latest patch is going to help our defense quite a bit, and I noticed that suddenly Coach Rex is calling for more pass aggressive defenses. I think we'll be in better shape here pretty soon defensively.

Also, I don't think we're as bad as our record, but we're not as good as we were last year. Most of our losses were one score affairs which could have gone either way. Heck, outside of an INT return for a TD, Norfolk and Hartford played even.

I will say this though, I would much rather be in the NC than the AC right now. Not to take anything away from the teams in the NC, but the AC is a killer conference right now.

you're hanging on one word. you're trying to say "you can be an impact player if the team doesn't win" which is hogwash. Michael Strahan hasn't won a Super Bowl, you're gonna say he hasn't been an impact player his whole career? the Saints and Chargers are having miserable seasons, but you gonna say Tomlinson and Bush aren't impact players? an impact player is someone who, just by performing at a particular level, helps influence events on the field. no one player in football can win or lose a game. this isn't basketball. being an impact player in basketball will win games (LeBron). football impact players just make their presence felt.

dollar for dollar Robey is one of, if not the, best FA signings this past offseason. huge value signing. biggest FA bargain in 2010.

I said this last year too. I saw this coming you have so many good young teams in the AC it is scary. NFK, IWC, STL, ANC, POR, CLE, MUR, and BOS to name 8 teams with a ton of talent that is very young. ALB if they have a solid draft or two can turn it around quick and I am quite happy I made hay while I had the chance. Heck, once Kozure has another year or two under his belt, WVA is going to be scary good.

I'm seriously considering blowing things up again since we lost so many players after last year. It won't be as drastic of a house cleaning, but we need new blood in here.
