Coder, that game was a war. We just could not get it in the end zone and had to settle for 4 FG's, 3 from the red zone. Offensively we are playing well since the running game has got it going a little bit over the last couple of games. Seems like the o-line is starting to gel. Hairston is have a good year and is the highest rated QB in the league by a little up to this point. Defensively well...let's just say I know where we need some help in the offseason.

Perhpas, the "wake up" call for the rest of the league? Definately a very big win against a good team and veteran GM. Many may have forgotten that they also upset Little Rock earlier. Never the less, they have issues with lesser teams. All in all, Vancouver is here for real.Originally posted by RichardM View PostBuddaKINGII wrote: "Now can Vancouver play with Anchorage? I guess we showed you!... devoted to the study of meaningless information ...

yea ... but Hartford had a off year. They lost alot from last year's championship team.Originally posted by roadrash View Postshit, Norfolk locked up the AC East this week. .. didn't realize that. Don't think anyone has ever had a playoff spot locked up by wk 12. Congrats Rook!
Boston is going to be a power but has been slow and methodical to find the way. WV is under new management that inherited a mess - that situation looks to be an vast improvement. But I'll take the complement ... thanks.
PS ... I'll still keep Hasty and Welch, even though the stats say something different than what I was expecting.

yeesh, you know your season is over when you win a game 26-0 and no one talks about it.
i guess the tweaks i made on the offensive gameplan worked. and note to the league: please continue to double team Nathan Mullin. WR Robey is having a career season. had i known he'd put up these numbers i'd have aquired him from the Bulldogs when Matt put him on the block. who could've guessed one of the biggest impact FA signings in the league would have been a 14 yr WR looking for one last paycheck.
last legs my ass. first catch of the game was his longest reception of his career - 83 yard touchdown.

we arent out until we are out...winning out is a good way to handle things...the advantage is we get to see some of our direct competition for the playoff spots...
and i dont ever stop playing to win and make the playoffs...i might shift to a younger guy for seasoning and experience but never a wholesale dumping of game sto close out a season...that isnt cool.GM Wichita Outlaws

I didnt change my offensive gameplan. I wanted to see the passing distance difference thrown. The gameplan has changed for Sanford. We came out throwing against Little Rock. We are balanced today with an emphasis on the very short and short passing game. LR was more of a longer ball.
I cant wait to see the 2nd half
never fear the FOF 2nd half explosion is near...
and funny enough it happened...FOF did everything possible to help you out...penalties, turnovers, sacks, etc...its the same old night and day AI shit.GM Wichita Outlaws

I have a theory.Originally posted by dberner30 View Posti have and its frustrating as hell...i was trying to figure out if short passing was happening or longer passing and the damn solevision says one thing and the yardage another...it cant make up its mind...
Say that a long pass is called.
1. The engine "targets" a certain receiver (he gets a plug in the stats column for a targeted pass)
2. However, he is covered and the QB dumps to a secondary receiver and who gets much less yardage than the called long pass. Thus the solvision report says (long pass for 7 yards ... or something like that)
Just a thought ... but plausible.

Vito has been playing with a seriously injured guard on his active roster since Week 5. Sort of shows you the intensity that SLC rolls with nowadays.Originally posted by Hell Atlantic View Postyeesh, you know your season is over when you win a game 26-0 and no one talks about it."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

ah yes, it was that one guard that would have made the difference in SLC being able to put points on the board and that same guard would have stopped the Heroes from scoring 26 points.Originally posted by jeff View PostVito has been playing with a seriously injured guard on his active roster since Week 5. intensity, schmensity. some nerds have run tests at FOFC that show simming an entire season with the same gameplan and setting your gameplan differently every week nets virtually the same results with not a lot of variance. gameplanning will be the 15% difference maker that puts you over the top, but you will still win your share of games regardless. and it's not like Vito isn't checking the boards, he's posted recently. i don't have a cheap win like anyone who played the Trojans before that previous owner was booted.
