I would like nothing better to pull out a win here. I need this win more then you do. I'm battling for a playoff berth here and yours is already in the bag.

Should be a good game i hope. Last time you destroyed us in the Imperial Bowl. Revenge would be sweet....

    Good luck
Boss ... the first half was very disturbing .. you ran and passed at will ... and the second half was much of the same. The only saving grace was the three tunrovers ... and clearly this was the difference in the game. If the Vipers didn't get those, you would have won hands down. Unfortunately, it will probably be a long time til we see each other again, unless its in a another bowl game ... that would be nice.

Dutra's been exceptional for me. After he went down, my much heralded pass defense went kaputt.. either him or 6.1.. one thing messed this shit up

Norfolk is 4th in rushing attempts and 32nd in yards per carry.
11-0 makes for a lot of late game runs... and kneel-downs at the end of games (-2 yards).

ah we played shitty, no more to say. We should be alright, since we still have a wild-card berth. Major overhaul in some things.

Lozier has 15 rushing attempts in 11 games = 1.3 attempts per game at a -0.67ypc.

            The rest of his backfield:

            Buckner -- 170att -- 4.02ypc
            Brown -- 108att -- 3.28ypc
            Derubies -- 57att -- 2.98ypc
            Woodward -- 4att -- 2.50ypc
            Caine -- 2att -- 2.50ypc
            ----
            TOTAL -- 341att -- 3.58ypc

3.58 yards per carry would only put them ahead of Louisiana.

Heh, I just noticed that Iron Foot Guthrie made his debut as a starting QB this week against Boston. Not surprisingly, Lansing lost at home.

Well, I think Hasty and Welch present a pretty stiff argument to disagree.

A big win over Cleveland, all be it at home as the Lawrence win was.

Once again we get a defensive score to get us to the win. This time it is DE Carl Cronin with a 51 yard INT return for a TD. Brian Dixon continues to be the hardest working RB in the league, and continues to carry the offense. Not what I expected from him after the first 4 games this year, I am pretty surprised and happy.

Ralph Given is not impressing me. May be time once again to adjust the passing attack some. See how he does with the Humphrey plan we had in, especially with Kennedy out for another 3 weeks. Might have been a mistake to think Kennedy being out would allow me to leave things the same.

                      GG Eckman.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

Another 4th quarter collapse. Patterson's interception was costly. I thought he had bought his way back into the starting role. Probably ought to decide him or Lara once and for all. I like Lara, but Patterson's disgruntleness worries me, especially because he is a mentor. If you look at the stats we would have won this game, but West Virginia's special teams gave them short fields on numerous occasions. Really upsets me seeing how everyone else in the division also lost. We may be the doormat division of the IFL this year.
