I played Center in high school. I loved the fumblerooskie. And it worked, because I was the greatest thespian ever to be in the Greater Spokane League.

btw, maybe my schedule could be any harder. the winning percentage of my opponents is .709.

we've had a horrible season, but many other teams would with a schedule like that. at least our 3 wins have come against all top 10 teams. we're even pretty close to the Cardinals per the in-game Power Rankings. i wonder how we'd have done had we not given up on the season and moved Grady Gomez right at the trade deadline? still, i like that move. classic buy low/sell high deal. i'm thinking the Heroes, at best can go 9-7, but 8-8 is more like it. we'll know after our game with the Seals. if for some chance we don't lose (not likely) we'd be 4-5 and have a decent if not outside chance of making a season out of it.

Not saying that I think Gomez would've changed things for your team but I feel that week 5 is very early in the season and causes GMs to get jumpy and decide that their season's over and they should give up their talent well before it's really determined.

Barring injury I don't make that many trades during the season. I figure the object of the off-season it to have a team that you feel comfortable fielding and I trust my judgement enough to not second guess it based on 5 games of data against teams whose strength I can't effectively judge yet.

considering the trade dealine isn't even at the halfway point, you really have to make your move early on in the season. either you think you're gonna compete the rest of the season or not, if not then you gotta move what you can to salvage the season. no matter what happens at least i can say this offseason "the year sucked, we didn't accomplish anything but a least i have these 4 high picks to show for moving Player X".

having only 1 win by the time i decided to move Gomez made it a very easy decision. i don't have a problem moving him cuz it was an excellent long-term trade, just that if we are gonna be winning more games the rest of the season it'd obviously seem to be easier with him on my team than not.

he's showing he's still got gas in the tank, making use of all the double teams that Mullin is getting.

I look to in season trading to fill any holes I felt I didnt have but are being exposed.

Fudge. I have to scramble to get an export in now. I was planning on driving like a madman to get to Shit-taco and back home by saturday. Just got screwed with a late appointment time to deliver tomorrow. Be lucky to get home by Sunday morning. Should be able to get one in i think.
