Okay, I see what you are talking about. The thing is, I'd lean toward making things look better for guys using the more popular high resolution settings. 1024x768 is a thing of the past.

A couple of other things:

- I can change the number of smilies in a column
- I think part of the problem might have to do with the missing smilies, the text is appearing instead of the smiley and that's taking up more room
