Can't you check mark the remember me option when you log in?

If you check remember me, you should never have to log in, even when you time out.

But i dont really like to do that. seems like it's 2 different functions. Is there a default log out time somewhere in the board defaults you can switch for me so i'll be happy?

1. "Automaticly Log Me In/ Remember Me" is a function that allows you to not have to enter your sn/pass when you log on.

2. Logging Out Because Of Idleing is not a function of, nor should it be a correlary of that.





See what i'm saying? All i'm asking is if theres a default idle time log out setting you can change. That's all. I wub you binky.

As long as you enable cookies from the site and check the box "remember me when I log in," you will never be logged out. You will never have to "log back in."

I don't see the crux of your problem. What is wrong with timing out if you don't want the forums to remember you?

I know. But I don't like doing that. It's not a solution, it's a workaround. If there is no solution then i'm ok, i'm just asking if their is a solution.

Argghhhhh. If I log in and sit here for an hour and don't do anything, it logs me out. I don't want to do that.

And the reason it blew over at the old board is because it stopped happening.

It's not a workaround. Explain how this wasn't a problem at the old board. So you visited the board at 11pm on Tuesday. You come back on Wednesday morning. What are you expecting here?
