    Looks dumb, right? I know. What's up with that? {cue a very mean post from Suicane here}

I decided this week that I'd like the IFL to go big time. And big time means we use vBulletin. Okay, it's more of me wanting a new toy to play with, but there's nothing wrong with that, right?

Things might not work and if they do they look bland in their working fashion. I had originally planned on doing some coolio unveiling, but that's a risk as information could get lost in the middle of things. I decided it would be best to do a quick switch and do the WIP thing, so here we are. Getting the forum into a better state will be my top priority.

In the meantime I could use your feedback. While some things are pretty obvious (no avatars), other things aren't so much so let me know what's not working/missing/etc. Here are some things that I'm already aware of:

    -avatars
-some permissions haven't been set up (media geeks)
    -searching probably doesn't work yet

Oh yeah, I need everyone to go through their private messages and clean out the ones they don't need. For some reason I have copies of every single PM I've sent since we switched to phpBB, so I have 719 total. That's just not right. I'll give everyone a week or so to get down to 150 total. From that point on you won't be able to send or receive PM's until you clean some out.

I'm probably missing some stuff, but whatev. It's 2 in the morning and it's taken me nearly 4 hours to get to this point.

    Edit: test

Uh, add user titles to the not working list. Apparently I own the Cardinals. Also, I'm not seeing smilies.

I can see them in posts, but I can't choose them when creating a post.

I like how it goes to the first post you haven't read, rather than the first post that was new when you started the session.

I don't know if you want suggestions or whatever, but here are a few.

                1. I'd like this place to be able to have the yellow skin of FOFC, i like that, it makes my cockels warm.

                2. I don't want to have to click that damn icon to make a quick reply, please change that so I can just type in this reply box please.

Yes, suggestions are definitely welcome. In regards to the quick reply dealio (which I'm surprised you even use given the amount of flack you sent my way when I added that mod to the phpBB board), the default is to leave it the way it is. I'm not sure what I like best at this junction.

If you enable Quick Reply, a box will appear on the showthread.php page allowing users to reply to the current thread without needing to load the full newreply.php page.

When Quick Reply is enabled, you may specify whether or not users must click the Quick Reply icon in order to start typing in the Quick Reply editor.

If you choose not to require a click, the system will not know to which post a user is replying, making both the threaded and hybrid display modes non-sensical.

We strongly recommend that you set the option to require a click if you use Quick Reply and have Threaded Mode available on your forums.
Edit: Okay, no click for quick reply is necessary. Not sure if anyone would ever use threaded mode.

Keep in mind that there will be plenty of things changing. I've never been that big of a fan of this default skin for starters. It's too wide. I also need to figure out how to move the usernames to the sides of posts.

Anyway to add page numbers? The preseason thread goes 1,2,3,......last page.
More then 3 would be great. How about 10?

Just a few worries, that I'm sure you've already thought about

                              1) Draft Utility integration

VPI had done a great job integrating the draft utility with the phpBB.

                              2) IFL goodies

The link underneath the name to the team-page, the ifl-tag

                              3) IMG doesn't work in the signature for regular users

                              4) no HTML in the posts
However, that being said, I must say I really like vBulletin!
