Look in your global options. Should be a setting to hide the scores. Mine is off, so I have to assume that your setting is the one that counts.

[ifl]Matt Sanford[/ifl] conitnues to impress. 27-39 251 yards. 3 Ints and 1 TD. He was sacked 6 times, which is not a good thing at all. That is his worst rating - Sense Rush.

Otherwise that was a fun game to watch. Very defnessive and field position in the 1st half. montreal won that as his punter kept burying me.

I noticed during this first pre-season game that solovision uses nicknames part of the time. I saw "Brandon Cox" and "Grunt Cox" on differing plays. Awesome!!

Regardless, I'm more leery of having Suicane sim games because of some of the stuff I've read in the past.

Jeff, this QB handing the ball off to himself was an epidemic in the RNFL. We couldn't solve it for the longest time. It got so bad that we had around 8 teams doing it each week, and the QB was passing to himself too.

Eventually, we got it down to only one team was having issues with it.

The 1 team that it was still having issues kept resetting gameplans each week, but sometimes the game would still error out and the whole mess would occur again for that team. I contacted Solecismic support, and they didn't have an answer for me. Sorry dude.

If you figure out what exactly how it occurs, I'd love to know.

obviously that's an extreme. but to deny a request to change one guy's name (when that guy currently has the same 1st and last name) is just being unnecessarily difficult.

who is it hurting if he does this? obviously i do this league to have fun, and it would enhance my fun if he just changed the name. it's an eyesore. i'd change it myself if i could.

Jeff is not setting a precedent here. He's simply not changing one that Cringer set "back in the day". The IFL has never allowed name changes. The closest ever that I can remember was "R.J. Kley" being shortened (periods removed) to "RJ Kley" so that I could fit his nickname in as at the time there was limited space.

I'm not saying "Morris Morris" isn't unusual and I'm not sure I'd be against an exception to the rule but don't feel that Jeff is singling you out.

i don't care about precedent. i care about logic. and there's no logical reason not to change it. if you say you can change the nickname then you can change the first name. i don't like when people basically say "i'm the commish, and i say no", it's annoys me and i'm not here to be annoyed. jeff is a great commish, as is suicane, but he can't be reasoned with. i'm sure if cringer were the commish he'd say "i don't want to start doing this all the time, but yeah, Morris Morris does sound/look stupid so in the interest of ying and yang i'll just honor your request this one time". that's all. jeff can still wear his crown after that, no one will take it away.
