I vote for mercy IF it doesn't effect anything else. Maybe resimming without Argot's export BUT only on the assumption (that hopefully someone can confirm/deny) that everything else will remain the same.

As far as I'm concerned, I just want Silvanic back. I could care less if someone else wanted Borders as a DC. It just doesn't seem right to punish my team for an entire year because I might have hit the wrong button.

i don't have a problem with a redo. it's not realistic to think that in real life a team would offer the wrong guy a contract. he hit the wrong button. shit happens. don't fuck him for the rest of the year.
