next week is huge for us. i mean HU-GE.

we win vs Albuqurque and ANC loses against the Seals and we're tied for 2nd in the West, with a good chance to surprisingly compete for a Wild Card. no one, and i mean no one - would have thought this after week 3 and the Heroes were 0-3.

there won't be any trash talking to the Seals. the better team one. it wasn't as close as 20-10, they really shouldn't have got that ticky tack td in the 2nd half. i was that confident in the research i did on Jeff's gameplanning so unless the AI was that intent in disregarding my own gameplan i felt i had the upper hand. all Jeff has is the better QB and his (prior to meeting the Heroes in week 10) successful offensive gameplanning. otherwise he doesn't have anyone to throw to and i fortunately have one of the top man-to-man CB tandems in the league, and with S Alton Filmore one of, if not THE best cover safeties in the league (4 INTs in the 5 games he's played in) you really have to think twice about facing us with a "bombs away" offensive gameplan. his RB isn't gonna scare anyone, and if you have the parts on your offense you can pretty much look his secondary in the eye and let them try to stop you.

Good game Boston ... I thought that this would be a good one, & I'll take the OT win ... a lot of division games are always nail biters for me.

Les Bishop has not been anything to write home about but he did give the Vipers 3 wins while Finger has been healing. I just happy that he wasn't afraid to put the ball in the air. He got picked off a few too many times but always seemed to have that long one to seal the deal. Just glad that Lozier is back for the big showdown vs. Hartford next week.

Fogarty had a terrible game, until the end of the 4th quarter when he tied it ... then he gave me a pick in OT for the win.

        Always enjoy our games ...

This game loves to mock me. We do absolutely nothing on offense all day and the Vipers miss a FG to clinch the victory with 2 minutes left. We miraculously march down the field and score a TD with 18 seconds left to tie the game.

In OT we block a FG and get to the Vipers 35 only to throw an INT. I can just see the evil FOF gods inside laughing at me.

This game with the Power was closer than it looks. We were inside the 30 quite a bit, but could never convert. You can't win though when you turn the ball over 4 times. Now 1st round draft pick Qualls is out for the rest of the season. This is almost getting comical if it weren't so frustrating.

Yea, I feel your frustration ... I was marking down a loss several times at the end. I gues I will continue to to whoever is looking out for the snakes.

Good game Mules. I admit I really didn't expect to win this game with Hickman and Flemming out, but why did we have to lose this the same way we lost so many games last year? I prefer to be blown out rather than lose a close game like this.

You have no idea how much I was hoping they would pull it out. This makes next week's game all the more important.

Next week looks to be a dandy week as all seven games are truly "super".

Dixon handles the ball 11 times out of 14 or so plays on the final drive of the game for the Toads. The drive eats up the last 5 minutes of the game and ends with the winning field goal. Damn nice way to prevent another one of those 50+ yard TD passes.

Stinkin' Key, I knew he would be a problem. That is some scary offense you have going there David. I never thought I would be just as worried about the Fire passing attack with JC gone.

I got a few injuries out of this though. Makes Tulsa next game even tougher.

GG Cringer... Markel is still developing... He has to improve that completion %...

We lose Hines for 3 weeks who has played lights out at SS this year. Key and Halbert have big games, but we did not stop the run very well...

My dreams are not over, playoffs are still with in reach (barely ).... But I am happy with the team this season. Should be interesting to see how it all ends

Good Luck Cringer... Hold on to that top spot

Ugh, injuries finally caught up with me as I lost Grant and Roland in the middle of the game. I still had a chance but I just couldn't do much to stop 3rd downs, and lost the game. Very frustrating as the division now got much closer with the Mules and Pigeons winning this week.

Luckily it's my bye week, which will give my team the rest they badly need for the stretch run.

GG Ragin, i'll be back in Week 17 though

Lost another LB and Martinez for 4 weeks with SLC comming to the "House Of Pain" next week. However, Winfrey stepped right in where Bice left off since he was inactive this week and caught 8 balls for 104 yards.
This team is firing on all cylinders and we should take care of business against the hatred ponys.
I bet we beat you guys by 14 points---in fact, I'm going to go ahead and predict we sweep you this season. James Tart is quietly returning to the player he once was and my O-line is starting to play very well together. I was the dumb ass that thought having Chaplin toss it 50 times a game could win it all for me. The stampede philosophy is back in SLC and the defense is starting to play up to their talent level.
