It looks as though LT Irwin Kao will play today. This hopefully helps solidify the left side of the line, and gives Sante the few extra seconds to make some throws.

I think Houston beats MUR today, in the "game of the day"

I'm such a wuss. My game got off to a shaky start, so I said screw the viewer and just looked at the division standings real quick. Of course I won. Now I want to actually watch the game, but there won't be any suspense. This is not an untypical thing for me to do.

Yeah, WIC is a good team, they have just had bad luck after week 1.
That is a big win for Portland too. Given how tight the AC West, AC East, and AC South figure to be, the top teams in those divisions need all the division wins they can get.

Crespo had a pair of TDs called back, and had a hard time getting yards. Often times he was hit for big losses. Hopefully Rogers will help in this department. Kao and Sanborn both get hurt and are out next week
Thankfully LRK was able to upset Lawrence. Now we get to face them
GG Tarcone.

Wichita shot themselves in the foot that game. Badly-timed penalties, costly turnovers, and settling for field goals. All those things overshadowed the gunslinging of Winston Scott.

How the eff did you shut Devon Taylor down like that?
We absolutely dominate against West Virginia. We gave up quite a few yards, but many of those yards came after we were up big. We finally punched the ball in and finished drives as we should have been doing all along. This is the first game all year that we score more TDs than FGs. The running game was absolutely brilliant today with Jamison and Hernandez averaging over 4 YPC. Hickman had a great day, even though we didn't focus on the ariel attack, he connected when he needed to. Most incompletions were due to good defense by WVA, rather than miscues by the offense.
The most troubling item is that we need to do better in our pass defense when we are up big. After we're up by 21, we give up 14 points, but we clamped back down and scored the last 10 points of the game. Reviewing the tape, it looks like Kersey rattled off a couple of big gains on draws as we were going into pass defense, which were the big plays on the drives. But, with out injuries up front, we weren't able to generate our usual pressure, only registering a couple of sacks and 9 hurries.
Still, we once again show that we can run against any quality defensive front. We are able to dominate the time of possession, and aside from a couple of good defensive plays by their secondary, should have tacked on at least another 3 points on a couple of drives that started inside Beast territory.
The big test for us comes next week on the road in St. Louis. A banged up St. Louis squad sees a number of studs come back off the injury list for them. We also see the return of Chris Aguero, Bryce Tan, and Jaime Wortham on defense. This is a big game for both squads. St. Louis needs to win to maintain pace with MUR and HOU, while HAR needs to win to maintain pace with NOR, and make sure we stay even in our common games.
