Well we are happy with the win. JC came back into town with many fans still wearing his Fire jersey. Lucky for us we kept him below 50% in completions and walk out with a 31-10 win.

Mules win another home game becomming two games over .500 for the first time ever - I think. Heck yeah.

Granger had a rough day. Montgomery must not have any faith in Costanzo or Young. Crosby got some yards, but they were playing from behind all day so it was not so bad. Holding the Wolfpack to a FG early was big for the Mules.

Good grief, I don't think I'll be able to handle another season like last year. We hold Little Rock to 3 points until the 4th quarter where we give up 17 points.

what a shitty week. Sante played so average. My offense as a whole blew today. Somebody make a freaking play dammit. On defense we got our ass handed to us. I just shake my head. I also lose my top CB for the year, Kao for 2 games (on the last play of the game), my shitty kicker, and Peltier. This sucks

Speaking of my shitty kicker, I was seriously considering picking up a guy who can actually kick the ball off a tee, now I think I will. Croft sucked ass again this week. I think everytime he kicks off, the opposition starts at like mid field.

another stellar week for lansing. defense is playing as nasty as it looks on paper for the first time in my stay in lansing. injuries have me a little scared though, 3 defensive starters injured including phifer who had 3 sacks this week.

BREAKING STORY ...

Warhammer, GM of the Hartford Grizzlies, has suggested that the team's owner offer a rule change for the upcoming season, at the owner's annual meeting to be scheduled later this year.

His suggests that the IFL move to a 3 quarter game. He was heard to say, "It works well in hockey, why not try it! I would be eternally grateful to each of the owners that would support this rule change ."

note to self: until the team start winning games consistently - no more trading draft picks. looks like we're headed for another 3 win season.

I am with you brother. We just are missing too many pieces. Every year we add 1-2 guys who are vastly better replacements and it seems like we have more holes. Not like I thought we would set the league on fire but starting 0-2 while both games were at home. Well, that is quite depressing.

I am with you brother. We just are missing too many pieces. Every year we add 1-2 guys who are vastly better replacements and it seems like we have more holes. Not like I thought we would set the league on fire but starting 0-2 while both games were at home. Well, that is quite depressing.

it's quite inexcuseable, though. take the Heroes - we have a 75 rated QB, and there's about 6 or 8 other QBs who you could say are heads and above better than him. we have 2 very good WRs (well, 1st overall pick Nathan Mullin is not very good just yet but he'll be dominant once he develops) for our QB to throw to. we have a very good RB to keep defenses from playing the pass. we have one of the best overall Offensive lines in the league. we have 2 shut down corners who can play excellent man to man defense. the best DE in the game. one of the best man to man safeties in the IFL in Alton Filmore (ok, he's been out so far, but i can't say we've been losing just cuz he's not playing. he's far from the missing piece that will put us over the top). we have a solid linebacking corps. our coach has won a championship and is a big improvement offensively than his predecessor.

that only leaves the gameplan. the gameplan has got to be faulty cuz across the board you just can't say we're horrible personnel-wise in any particular category. i'm gonna have to retool some more with a practice team and see if i can come up with a better gameplan. in the interim i'm throwing out a gameplan that is far different than anything i've ever used, but if anything it'll throw the Mules off balance cuz they won't be expecting what we're gonna do next week.

A brutal game by both our teams. The penalties were crazy in this game.

I did not think I would get out of todays game with a victory but once we stopped the turnovers in the 2nd half we got control. A sigh of relief as I prepare for next week. Good game Richard.
