Yeah I was doing the draft over the phone. I was not going to be home anytime soon and due to a Dr appt forgot to turn on autodraft and I did not want to hold things up. I need some youth there and with no pick in the 3rd I reached. Crossing my fingers of course

I guess I'm overdoing this by staying up until 4 a.m. to draft

Hey, I have been sitting here waiting for Matt to pick for hours now, and I am not going to sleep until he wakes up so I can make my pick!

All I know is that after many hours of trying to decide who to pick, I finally ignored position guys because they were just messing me up.

So the first kicker is being selected within the next two picks. If Matt doesn't take him then I am. If he does take him, then it removes that temptation and I pick a position player like I probably should.

Ok, I give up. I will turn on my draft utility and go to sleep. My ass hurts from sitting here and I am a little on the bored side. Might as well try to go to sleep.

If I am moving in with you Matt, you better start staying up later. I mean crap, I won't be working when I live there so I need someone to entertain me. We can do LAN FOF baby! Woohoo!

              Goodnight.

I was working on the draft, and then passed out on the couch very early last night.

I apologize for holding people up.

Cring. You can move in and stuff, but I'll hook you up with a job too. I can't have you sitting around all day and stuff.

lol - Goodwin would have been a Mule at 3.8

I was not gonna reach at 2.8 for a good K though so congrats

Waiting on response to trade offer. If it's a negative I already know the player I"ll be taking so there'll be no deciding time.

BTW - The offer is 3.10 for a 2nd round pick next year and is open to anyone else as well.

That's a bunch of :shithappens: man!

Ok, I have drafted another kicker named Ross near the end of the 2nd round. Hopefully this one doesn't slowly fade away like Mosley.

And if CB Wiggins, taken at 3-7, has that low of a man to man rating, then he is pretty much for returns and special teams play. Which I need, my special teams guys are all older starters who don't need to do that any more.

Would you accept a 2011 2nd rounder instead? Maybe I could throw in a 7th rounder as well.

Hard to read whether or not that's a joke or if you've seen the thread in the finalized trade forum. In the event it's a serious offer, the pick is already traded for that exact offer.

Jon Cavazos, Tennessee, Fr. (6'1", 214, age 20) - 2008 stats (did not play)
There likely won't be a Jay Caro entering the IFL in 2009, but there will be a kid name Cavazos - and that's okay. The Indiana native came to the Volunteers as the 3rd-best high school QB prospect in the nation in 2008. What they ending up getting was an immensely talented player, but one with no college ambitions whatsoever. Cavazos's problems began before September even rolled around. Sources quoted him saying that he felt the starting quarterback spot should've been his to lose from day one. Three-starter Tyrone Donovan (another draft-eligible player) and Coach Bill Castillo disagreed. Castillo redshirted him and the rest is history. Rumor has it that Cavazos had his roommate show up and take an in-class Geology test for him. This before completely dropping out of school before the semester had ended. The bottom line is that you're getting a very raw and unpredictable player in Cavazos. Unfortunately, if you're in dire need of a starting signal caller you may have no other choice than to take a flier on this brash young man.
We are going to give the kid a shot. His bars don't look great, but he is young and can run. If all else fails he can be a WR or RB.

I wouldn't have been surprised if he would've lasted til 4.20.
