OK, 4 months from now, when we do all this over again. Don't wake up in the middle of the night when you are supposed to go to work 2 hours later.

that hacked me off...i wanted that guy...i think he has a chance to be a star in the league. he is better than the guy taken in front of him and probably as good as the 1st rd QBs. Now i hope he busts.

Well.. dedicated GMs like me, who track the draft 24/7, we also have a close look at the candidates to be drafted.. I signed good ole Rocco for the sole purpose of mentoring a young QB.. naturally, I was going to draft a decent QB

lol...yup...i made the poor decision of drafting DT at 2-12 thinking the QB would slide to 2-15 and well not exactly...

You guys got me curious, why the love for O'Neill, but not Strong?

EDIT: Which one was O'Neill was he the guy from Ark. St.?

Hehe, I was keeping tabs on who took what before my pick.. that's why it was so important for me not to auto-pick while I was sleeping.

I was considering letting him slip to 22 to take another player at 13, but when I saw someone's prioritylist get reduced by one when Strong was picked, I knew that they most likely had another QB on their priority list.

Now I hope my second guy is still there for 22.. which I think he will be.

                        O'Neal from Florida.

Well, Strong looks good, but O'Neal was more even across the Screen to Deep passes, while Strong stood out in Long. His Screen-passes was very low and I run a short-pass offense, relying heavily on Logan and Kayser.

Secondly, for accuracy and avoid interceptions, O'Neal looks much steadier.

Basically, it seems to me that Strong's overall-rating was higher because he's a better kickholder, and I don't really need that .

However, Strong is more mature than O'Neal, but that will hopefully change

OK, I wasn't impressed with O'Neal's workouts which was one reason why I opted towards Strong. Plus, with 11 formations already known, I won't have to worry about scaling back the playbook due to this.

I really hope that Biggs had Dowdell rated higher than Haynes. That would make me feel better about the pick.

I forget which one I had first, I pretty much flipped a coin. Both have advantages and disadvantages. I'm glad that one of them was still on the board, because I'm not a big fan of the rest of the centers in the draft, and now I don't have to move [ifl]Artie Denny[/ifl] to C.

That was my dilemma, I needed a C, but I only really liked Dowdell. With Austin coming off the board and already having Strong, my next fit was at C, but I was afraid of making the move too early. The fact that you picked C right behind me confirmed that it was the right move to make.
