    It wouldn't get that far.
    Why?

If Hartford beats Reno, then loses to WestVa it would come down to common games. Common games comes before conference record.

        Ah fuck me...

Yeah common games takes precedence over conference records. My bad. If both teams finish 9-7 with 4-2 division records then Boston wins out with a 7-5 common game record over Hartford's 6-6.

Edited the Boston scenario's above for accuracy.

Right now, I know I need to win atleast 1 of my next 2 games to win the division. If I lose my next 2, do I still have a chance at a wild card? I'm assuming yes.
I'll jump on this in the afternoon

Good luck with that as there are a lot of scenarios with no locked up division winners! I'll be around to double-check though.

If I lose to WVA, but beat REN, Boston is second place due to better division record. If I lose to REN, but beat WVA we have the same divisional record, but I am in 3rd place due to the common opponents. Ack, I screwed that up. Actually the common opponents record would be 7-7 vs. 8-6 (OAK, VAN, REN, SLC, ANC, AQU, CAL, POR).

Crap, this game really, really killed me.

I still have to beat SLC and Norfolk. That is going to be one hell of a task.

                  1) ANC is currently the #1 seed by virtue of common opponents against Houston.

                  2) Houston is the #2 seed by virtue of conference record against Norfolk.

                  3) Norfolk is the #3 seed.

These seeds can change based upon who has the best record over the last two weeks of the season. ANC owns the head to head tie breaker against Norfolk is they are tied by virtue of their head to head meeting. Houston currently holds the conference tiebreak on Norfolk by virtue of conference record. If they tie for conference record, the tie break will go to strength of victory. If STL wins the AC South, they will be the #3 seed by virtue of losing head to head against Norfolk and conference record to ANC.

                  4) AC North winner, IWC or WIC

True. I think that was part of what I was looking at. Three weeks out its really hard to figure things out once you get past the front runners because so much needs to happen in certain ways.

                      I'm up for the challenge

                      NC North -

Pretty straightforward, if Madison beats Pittsburgh they win the North.

Madison is currently 7-4 in common games, Pittsburgh is 7-4 as well. Therefore if both teams have identical records at the end with a Pittsburgh win, common games will be the same at either 7-5 or 8-4 so they won't matter. I'll fall to strength of victory. The only difference between the two teams for victories are:

Pittsburgh beat Vancouver, Lansing, Houston*, Tulsa, Little Rock (36-33-1)

Madison beat Newark, Dakota, Murfreesboro*, Texas, Columbia (32-36-2)

If both teams win next week, Murf and Houston come off the lists since both teams will have beaten them. The records would be 25-30-1 for Pitt and 26-28-2 for Madison, or damn near even. The final records of the teams above would determine who wins. If both teams lose this week, Pittsburgh would be the favorite to win the tiebreaker barring a collapse by their list.

With an 8-8 record for the #6 WC:

HAR, BOS, IWC, and WIC are all eliminated. In case of a three way tie with AQU/POR, IWC/WIC, and BOS, AQU/POR wins the WC spot due to conference record.

AQU and POR would go down to strength of victory in case of a tie at 8-8.

At 9-7 for the #6 WC spot:

HAR must win one game AND AQU must lose BOTH games AND POR must lose one game AND BOS must lose one game.

WIC/IWC are eliminated in any tie due to common opponent tiebreaker, with exception of BOS.

POR must win BOTH games AND HAR must lose one game AND win tiebreaker with AQU.

AQU must win one game AND HAR must lose one game AND win tiebreaker with POR AND BOS must lose one game.

BOS must win both games and HAR must lose one game AND POR must lose one game AND AQU must lose one game AND win tiebreaker with WIC/IWC.

                        At 10-6:

If STL, AQU, and HAR tie at 10-6, AQU is the #5 seed by virtue of conference record and HAR wins the #6 seed by virtue of common opponents (CLE, HOU, NFK, ANC 3-2 v 2-3).

If STL wins either game they get the #5 seed if they don't win the AC South.

If AQU and HAR tie at 10-6, AQU wins the #6 seed by virtue of head to head victory.

If either AQU or HAR finish alone at 10-6 they are the #6 seed.

                        At 11-5 or above:

The second place team in the AC South takes the #5 seed in the AC.

Thanks to the tie it'll simply fall to whoever has the best record. No real need to delve deeper here.

A Newark win or Lawrence loss gives Newark the division. Even if Lawrence beats Newark, Newark's division record give them the tiebreaker. Lawrence can only clinch if they win both games and Newark loses both.

Actually the NC is pretty easy.

The NC South goes to the team with the better record.

The NC East goes to Newark if they win a game, otherwise Lawrence gets it.

If Oakland wins out, they get the nod, if SLC wins out and Oakland loses out, SLC gets the spot. If they tie, Oakland gets it on common opponents.

                              NC North Hawkster did.
