  • Two-game weeks

Yada yada yada, Suicane and I want to have a larger number of two-game weeks. We're thinking around four would be a good number, maybe three this season since it has already commenced.

It would also make more sense to have these weeks follow a different format than the usual sat-sun-mon-tue deal. I'm thinking more like wed-thu-sun-mon. We'd schedule these ahead of time. In fact, we'll have a season schedule drawn up before each regular season starts.

Whatcha whatcha whatcha think? (whatcha think)

i'm all for it big time. wouldn't mind seeing 2 game weeks being the norm, actually, but that's probably a big no-no.

I'm all for doing 3 for a season, especially with the proposed new style schedule, and then contemplating doing 4. However there might be a few guys against games mid-week as I think I remember some opposition to it before.

It wouldn't be hard to convince me that 2 games a week would be cool, but I fully realize that this league was built as and has flourished as the only 1 game-a-week league. I'd need 20 owners in my face telling me the same to change things that drastically.

Suicane would probably be the other obstacle.

yeah, its not a deal-breaker for me, just wouldn't be so bad. if i had to vote i'd say 2 game weeks all the time, but i'll save that debate for another time.

I'd be all for 2 games a week. I can't stand all the crickets around here during the week. Maybe keep it slow up until the trade deadline for the teams that want to give up a rebuild 3 weeks into the season, then let loose

I would love this league to sim 2 games a week.

As much as I like the league and would really enjoy a 2-game a week norm, I know I'd have a tough time keeping up with it. To be honest, one of the things I really do like about the IFL (besides the great owners and wonderful contributions by everyone), is the fact that it's a "sunday"-league.

By looking at this thread I might be the minority though, and I will follow the majority if it's voted upon.. I just felt that I should say something.

Maybe I should add that a few 2-game weeks work fine.. I just would have a hard time with every week being a 2-game week.. if ya know wadda mean

                        A couple things to add.

                        1. I haven't ever talked to Suicane about seriously changing to 2 games per week (every week), so anything I've said is really just me thinking out loud

                        2. We definitely wouldn't do something like this in the middle of a season, so this wouldn't happen anytime soon

                            1. The Mules like the 1 game a week and full steam ahead during the offseason

2 Multi-weeks games should be used in part to make sure that the draft does not fall on Christmas or the 4th of July or something like that. In otherwords use them to avoid real life sonflicts when possible and forseeable.
