So you're saying that (2) is AFTER the begin late free agency button is pushed?
Yes, after the draft is completed. I don't think there are any small changes in draft picks between when the player get put on the roster and the beginning of training camp, just big changes, but I could be wrong. Then there are some more potential changes during training camp.

I think the small changes are the scouts impression getting closer to the player's actual, and the big booms as changes in actual and the scouts impression, but, again, I could be wrong.

I have current and potential for the draft picks charted at their own draft, then for each year: after the draft, before week 1, after 8 games, and after week 17, if anyone wants to see it.

    • Interesting stuff for Whiting..

      Range - Attempt - Made - %
      (1-19) - 3-3 - 100%
      (20-29) - 4-4 - 100%
      (30-39) - 10-12 - 83%
      (40-49) - 5-8 - 63%
      (50+) - 5-13 - 38%

I'm not sure what that all means, but I was bored and decided to do a game by game breakdown because I knew he was attempting a ton of 50+ yarders. I wonder how my games would have turned out had I punted instead of giving them the ball around their own 45 yard line to start 8 drives.

Probably not a whole lot different, but you never know.

      • Field goal managment has got to be a part of the next iteration of the game. Thats just absurd.

        • In the utility, for the checkbox 'dont' pick the same position in consecutive rounds', does that mean picks? For example, if I put in 5 of the saem position for 5-17, and 5 of another one, will it pick the first position, then the second position for 5-29?

          • lol

Mules had the opposite problem last season with that weak legged Knowles. I wonder what games turned out different cause the Mules punted so many times from inside the 35 yard line.

That's a tough one. I want to say that it means picks, but I can not be certain of that.

I got what you're saying now. So far for me:

                Cash -2
                Bailey +2
                Rose -2

                  • I'm quite pleased with how Doyle looks, and both my split ends look like solid second rounders.. after that.. well.. I was gunning for Hinse but obviously he didn't fall to me in the third and while Chandler looks decent, he's not as nice looking as Hinse.

Seeing my new corner has me perplexed as to why I put him on my list at all though :P

Interesting discussion. I've always thought this was more than just scout adjustment, but never could tell. I seemed to really notice this with all of my busts. I'd draft the guy and he'd lose points. He wouldn't bust right away, but would lose points over time. See GEFL's Mike Pagel.

So far this year's draft looks OK for me.
