Damn, that was a hard pick. Nice to have the worry of which good guy to take, but still hard.

OLB Kim Cortez just looks to damn good to have passed up. I tried to talk myself into DT Raymond Ellis, who I needed more, and who I think is perhaps the best DT in the draft down the road. Cortez is just nice 'on paper' though, and I could use him right away still.

I could regret passing on Ellis, but it is a chance I will take I guess.

The first thing the Toad's coaches will do is see if Cortez is a candidate to move to WILB. Frisch has been solid, but getting older and has never produced the way I would like my WILB to.

I even have a ILB mentor already on the roster to help him.

And yeah, Ellis is nice. I had the feeling I would be giving him to Lawrence by taking Cortez. Atleast he didn't go to someone in my division.
