Fun fact: Raymond Rodriguez, at 26 years and one month, is one of the oldest draft eligible players this year.

caught up and will be picking soon

Mules got themselves a starting CB

                  Jose Mangum is 1.4

A bite of a reach, but no way he falls to 1.19

                    Torres to LOU.

While i'm sure Brummitt was tempting, this does appear to be a good move (grumble) for the Voodoo.

Now, does Murf get a bookend for 'Grunt'?

I'm surprised that Blumritt lasted as long as he did.

You are correct. Brummitt was VERY tempting but in the end for me it came down to the greater need and I need some help for MLB Aaron Wilson in the middle. I also have a metor for him, not at DE.

Murf ends up taking Mangum with the 4th overall pick, and honestly i'm not that surprised when I look at it. With a very good passing attack in both LOU and STL, and the pickup of Booker to Houston, the AC South may need to focus more on pass defense.

                            .....

SLC reaches down a bit to take Offensive Guard Andy Kelso, however he looks like a sure thing at the Guard position, and the Stallions offensive line is hurting right now.

                            .....

This allows the prized DE Marshall Brummitt to fall all the way to 5th in what could be the steal of the draft so far. Tulsa gets a great defensive end who could have gone as high as 2nd, and gets to pay 5th pick type of money for him.

                            ......

Boston picks up a DT who has the pontential to really beef up their line, however his work ethics have some scouts concerned. If the Boston coaching staff can keep him motivated and allow him to reach his full potential, Hood could do great things for the Dragons.

                            .....

Wow, the draft is really moving along now. Dakota picks pretty quickly, and wastes no time grabbing one of the top MLB's in the draft, Clarence Qualls. Scouts are in love with this guy, but he'll be currently blocked by McCourt unless the Spirit move him, or go 3-4 next season, which is a very real possibility.

                            ......

Lansing is now on the clock

Yeah it is. Another PM has been sent off to VPI. But it is Sunday, so I am not sure a fast response should be expected of him.

It's kind of fun watching the draft play out when I don't have to stress wondering if my guy is going to be picked lol.

I may trade my first rounder every year jk
