Now, there is of coarse exceptations to this rule. If a guy busts his ass all year long on a team that blows ass, I am NOT discounting his stats. That shows me effort and desire, which is the prime thing I look for when making these votes.

For instance; you have 2 of the best QB's in the league, Hamilton and Booker. Anyone who makes their vote before the this game is played is simply discounting one of the most important factors regarding awards. You can throw for 6000 yards and 70 touchdowns, but if you cannot at least win a wildcard game, then your not as good as advertised. Bottom line.
I will go a step further. If you are talking about Player Of The Year............If you are not in the IFL bowl, then you shouldn't even be considered for POTY. To me, thats an easy decision. A TRUE POTY will lead his team, regardless of position, to the IFL bowl.

I didn't catch the due date for these awards, but I sure hope it's the week before the IFL bowl, because I cannot, in good faith, cast my votes untill I see the players who can truly play at their best, when it matters most.
Bullspit, you can't make your arguement purely on winning games in the playoffs---you've never been to the playoffs before this year and previously tried to pimp your players for this award.

I'm not saying Booker is MVP material as he's managed to take a step back this year with my run first approach BUT but still posted back-to-back record setting seasons and guided those Stallions to the playoffs a lot.

My defense collapsed after people saw that my front seven could be run on easily and my 7-2 start faded to a 9-7 finish. Even still, Booker did a helluva job to keep us in the hunt and I'm betting he'll post 300 yard 4TD game to remind you that he is still an elite passer.
This is the worst smack talk week ever for an Oak/SLC game, and this is the one that means the most!

If you define MVP as a player that takes the team on his shoulders and continually shows up and performs, which I do, than you have to give RB Bennette Jones a look. He is everything to the VooDoo and has been for years.

      LOU - RB Bennett Jones - 1411 yds, 3.93 avg, 10 TDs; 67 rec, 477 yds, 2 TDs

He was 6th in the league in rushing yards and 10th in the league in receiving yards. Also had 12 TD's, caught 75% of the passes thrown to him, just 1 drop in 89 targets, and has rushed for 1,200+ yards in every season. The only thing he didn't do for the VooDoo offense was throw the damm ball. Just give him a look.

Then don't fucking call them Players Of The Year, if your not going to stick around to see who the REAL players of the year are. Call the awards, best regular season awards, and give the guys who are the real deal there dues.
The true POTY are the guys still out there on the fucking field making it happen for their teams.

If some QB carried his team on his back to the postseason through a 16 game schedule, then some douchebag on his team fumbles the ball a few times, or his defense sucks in a one game series, i'm not going to blame the QB. Without him, the team wouldn't even see the postseason, so he's probably my MVP of the league.

On the opposite side, i'm not going to credit a guy who rode a great team to the postseason, then finally showed up for a game or two when it mattered. I'd give him the championship or superbowl MVP, but not league MVP.

Thats why I vote on the awards, especially MVP up until game 16. What happens in the postseason is a different thing all together imo. Far too many flukey things can happen in one game series.

Dude, STFU. It's not an argument or a debate. The league awards are for the regular season, same as in real sports leagues. They arn't based on post season. If you weren't still alive you would be pimping your own players and arguing the exact fuckin opposite. Just calm the hell down for christ sakes.

ROFL, dude, no shit! I am going to pimp whatever is best for my team regardless. And since when does everyone take me so seriously? I haven't changed a damn bit since the league started and suddenly this year, everyone is like, "calm down, relax, dude chill" etc.....

I am laughing my ass off while writing 99% of the shit I post. If people take me seriously, that just makes it funnier. No idea why people are taking the crap I write at full face value this year :?

I was in a bad mood. I almost made a word filter that changed "Tank" to "Candyland", just in case you did well this weekend. It's all good.

Both banners stretch my screen for some reason even though they both fit on the screen fine.

                          Jave's stretches it more though.

Anyways, last chance to get your votes in, votes are tallied tomorrow.
My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.
