A breakout player is a player that hadnt done anything in the IFL, then finally has a great season. This is usually a younger player that finally hit his potential or a midlevel guy who just exploded all of a sudden.
A comeback player is a player that had played well, then didnt for a season or two, then came back with a good season. Maybe he got injured, or was considered too old, lost his starting job, whatever.
A comeback player award wasn't really feasible until this season, since there weren't prior seasons to 'comeback' to. But I'm not married to the idea, just a suggestion that I thought would be cool.
