Sorry, brother, but I forgot to comment on another thing. SLC hasn't clinched a playoff spot. Tulsa isn't out. They could be 8-4 in the conference.Originally posted by JeffOriginally posted by Suicane6. Salt Lake City
I think they can still win the Division, im not sure. But they assured a wild card spot."Larry Deasoooooooooooooooooon" -- Phil Jenkins

Good game Anchorage. I knew last week I would drop this one. Made my decision to bench some injuried starters just that much eaiser. It's more important that they are ready for the SLC game, then take the chance on them going down for the rest of the year.
On to SLC...........Ahhhhhhhhh. What better senario could the league envision then the division title comming down to the final week! The hardened vet in Vito and his Stallions taking on myself and the upstart Assassins. This is how is should play out. Not all that "if so and so beats so and so, then the tiebreaker vs AFC opponents should give a 1.1756th of an edge" bullshit. Just 2 teams fighting it out on the field for all the gold.
Neither of us are seriously injuried, it's an even playing field. Well..........except for the fact that Vito will have to dodge all of the battries and beer cups that will be tossed his way next week, but other then that.......
This is how I wanted it. I wanted to take the division title right from the person who currently owns it, by beating the fucking snot out of his team on the field. Ya'all ready for some football!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good game Dakota. I figured I would open up the passing attack a bit, and didn't realize one of your stud CBs was getting back in the lineup, should have kept it short.
That said, we should be back next year. The running game is looking strong, and with the addition of a good WR the offense should open up a bit. Hopefully next week we'll be able to throw a wrench in Norfolk's plan.

I lost two DB's in the process, but i'm not too scared, I think I may have figured a few things out with gameplanning. Plus Garcia is on fire, if only StClair could have gone down earlier in the season, I may have had a chanceOriginally posted by CringerHouston took out Vermont today, and they played real well too, it wasn't a fluke. VooDoo fans must be saying 'here we go again.'Originally posted by SuicaneAlright, now it's on to Murfreesboro. And I swear to god Houston, if you beat Louisiana this week there will be a gift pack on your door next Monday morning.
He's making Jerry look foolish right now, already had 7 TD passes in 3 games to StClair's 6 in 12.

That game hurt like hell.. Million done for the season, Sepulveda aggrevated an old injury early in the first quarter.. at least Houston got a taste of the injuries as well.Originally posted by Houston_GMI lost two DB's in the process, but i'm not too scared, I think I may have figured a few things out with gameplanning. Overall I'm very disappointed by the performance of the D.. Houston ran a great offense, more varied than I was expecting. Good game!

Yea, sorry about the injuries. Mine were nothing, only 2 week injuries, and i'm eliminated anyway. You lost your RT for the postseasonOriginally posted by CoderThat game hurt like hell.. I enjoy playing the 'spoiler' role (even though you had your division locked up), but would rather not hurt players through the postseason.
Anyway it was a good game, should build some confidence heading into next season. Next up, it's the VooDoo!Steve Beans - Houston Renegades

I lost the game, a 70 overall tackle for the season (possibly career), and a 70 overall defensive end for the season. Mann was a little rusty (3 of 7 in short passes? ouch), and WVA came up big on nearly every third down (8/18 on third down, but 2/2 on resulting 4th downs and 4 FG's on 4th, so only 4 punts).
I hate to blame injuries, but next week is going to be tough without my best receiver, my best offensive tackle, my best defensive tackle, my best defensive end, my best cornerback, my starting SLB, my 2nd best offensive tackle coming into the season, and my backup guard. My nickel back is back from injury though, so I have that going for me. Which is nice.Los Angeles Matadors AC West Champs: 2037

Aye, You had me scared there at the end of the game tho' with yet another blocked punt. We finally held off a two-minute drill to win the game and Rocco threw 3 TD passes! Yeah! Guess he didn't like the press saying that he may be washed upGood game Dakota. . Good game, you really have been coming on strong here at the end.
And Hooray for West Virginia and Norfolk, who both pulled out wins, especially Norfolk who came back to win in OT. Now we just need to beat Madison and need Lansing to beat Pittsburgh for the division title.
Question: If Tulsa and Salt Lake City both lose, Does Dakota have a chance of sneaking into the wildcard with a win if Pittsburgh also wins?6. Salt Lake City
I think they can still win the Division, im not sure. But they assured a wild card spot.
The same question could be asked of Pittsburgh if they lose, and Dakota wins the division.
Dakota beat both SLC and Tulsa this year. Not that it matters or anything :PMIAMI VICE - 2074
