Btw, now that i've cooled off a bit I am happy I sort of stopped Crespo. That was my goal heading in, it's just my offense couldn't do much against a solid defense. Another tough team next week in Cleveland.

Houston just migt be a team to watch this year. I am pretty impressed with how they did against Newark despite the loss. Years past they would have been whooped by you I think.

Also, anyone notice that Texas score against Iowa City. :shock: Clayton Chung has his shit together so far this year.

Houston is a great team. Great defense, man. We stopped Stclair most of the game, then within 2 mins a 50yd bomb to Ambrose Jones. We are feeling very fortunate to get the W in this one. I was really sweating this one out

Well, a solid win. Beaver really stuck it to me, but I expected that with Nelson being hurt and Delano out for the year. Once again, my defensive line is no where near championship material.
Lomeli is having a hell of a season thus far. I can't for the life of me fiqure out the connection with him and Hamilton. The team basically ignored Connell, but I insert Lomeli, and suddenly, he is a monster part of the offense, running, recieving, just really a huge part of the team.

Jeff gameplan was nearly perfect again. I had an idea of how he would defend me, and he went the other direction. I thought for sure I had his defensive plan fiqured out, but was way off.
Aside from Lomeli's great game, Tessier is my other player of the game. He really killed Fresnos defense catching 2 long bombs in critical drives for my team.

My decision in training camp to add 35 minutes to conditioning appears to be working out as well. Players are not dropping like flies yet this year. Crosses fingers A few minor adjustment to the defensive plan is needed though, I cannot continue to get killed like that in the running game.

No good thing goes unpunished as I get a Texas team on a serious roll. A quick look at their roster is like looking at a mirror of my own team. They are stong everywhere. This ones going to be a battle.

Good game Jeff. I don't look forward to playing Fresno again this time next year.

Last season, the returning players in my secondary and LB corps had 65 passes defensed to 235 catches. This year, they have 1 pass defensed and 35 catches. Same players, same system, same or better ratings.

0-2 but both on the road, I can handle this, dont want to, but I can. This is just very dissapointing in that I had control for a good portion of the first half of the game but then just made too many mistakes and left my Defense on the field way to long and in too many bad situations.
