I woke up Friday about 4 in te afternoon, stayed up until 2:30 yesterday afternoon when I got a 1 hour nap. Then woke up and ran around at my kids 2nd soccer game of the day. Went to sleep about 1 a.m. last night, and then go figure....I kept waking up all night. Got too tired to sleep I guess. :x

Another good game for Cleeland, 6 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 pass defensed.
Team record 417 yards of total offense.
Jamison posted another 100 yard day with 106 yards on the ground. Barker and Dostie added 25 and 18 respectively.
Hickman's stat line 20 of 25 for 244 yards and 1 TD. Even more impressive, we were 10 of 13 on third down.
Defensively, we played better than the box score indicates. Five of Madison's nine drives ended up with negative net yards. We allowed only 28 yards on the ground on 2.3 yards per carry. The passing stats were skewed a bit as we sacked Irby 10 times! Sack totals were Williamson with 2.5, Cleeland with 2, Boyer, Tan, Scott, Brown, and Leong all with 1, and finally Howie Lucas with half a sack.
Geez, we're 2-0 right now, but it is only a matter of time before we come back to earth. I gotta enjoy this while I can!

Just a guess, since it is not kept tract of in the game, yes I would say that is a league record. 10 is pretty incredible.
That will certianly shut down a pass attack.
And I was feeling pretty good about my 5 today.
I thought it was a typo! Then I went back and double checked, and was absolutely stunned. Doubly so because Irby has such a high Sense Rush rating. I'll take the results though.
Just looking at the stats, I would have thought they were more effective in the air, but looking at the breakdown, it was impressive. Now, I gotta get working on next week's game.

BTW Warhammer, Cleeland sure is making an early run for Rookie of the Year. Damn good first two games.
I'd be lying if I said I thought he would be this good. He is a HUGE reason we are 2-0 right now. What is doubly impressive is he has made everyone else more effective as well.

Houston just migt be a team to watch this year. I am pretty impressed with how they did against Newark despite the loss. Years past they would have been whooped by you I think.
Also, anyone notice that Texas score against Iowa City. Clayton Chung has his shit together so far this year.
Edit: Scores and boxes/logs updated on front page.

Thanks, I can't believe the fumble in OT argh.
I'm also pretty bothered by FoF. Why in the world was my 3rd back given almost as many touches as Timmerman? He had a big 25 yard run but other than that he stunk and that hurt. I have no clue why he remained in the game and kept getting the ball.
That game is going to leave a bad taste in my mouth for a long time because of that. I wonder if it's something i'm doing in my gameplanning, maybe formations.
FoF complaints aside, i'm extremely disappointed in about 58 minutes of Stclair today. He was pretty terrible, although you were playing for the pass more, which is what bothers me about Franklin getting the touches.
