I hate the VooDoo - still I did win the $7.50 in Vegas cause of them so it ain't all bad. lol

Mules had the ball in the 4th down by 7 so it was a game, but that is about all I can say about it. I sat some younger players on purpose to put more talented players on the field and still could not make a play against the VooDoo -

Nice to start off with a win. What a great game Lansing. Madison was down 16-3 going into the 4th. Irby threw some big passes and eventually we took the lead on this play:

Talk about clutch. Fourth down and goal from the 24, the game in the balance with :54 seconds left. He hits Wells for the TD. The Demons go up 25-22 at this point.

Penalties killed us this game and low and behold we have one as time is about to expire. Puts Lansing in FG range and off to OT we go.

Rusty Ramos takes the opening kickoff in OT and motors 85 yards for the game winner. Nice to see a guy already paying divedends.

Pittsburgh opened up the season with one of our best games in the IFL. 27-10 lead with 5 mins left to go in the 4th, then a little prevent defense allowed Dakota to make it a 27-20 final. Scored on our first 5 drives, Rodrigez went 18 for 131 (7.2 ypc), Mann went 17-21 for 231 yards and 3 TD's. Carmack and Andrews were held to 24 yards on 12 carries.

There was only one pass defensed in the entire game :?

Next up is a tough inter-conference game with Norfolk.

Ugh...let's never speak of Williams and his 4 TD passes on the Portland secondary ever again. I have a feeling it's going to be a long season for the Seals' fans.
