I did not notice this before, but a small percentage of players do not have a College team. . .

Got the players all loaded in the DB for 2006. . .this is more a trial run. . getting the SQL commands down, and trying to figure out what I need to do.

Gonna add some stats over the next few weeks to see how it works. . once I am happy with the data modeling. . I will begin to create the import scripts. . then I can start populating the DB with live data for another test. . at that point I'll be looking for a DB to host the monster ..

Then it's just a matter of coming up with the front end and inserting it into the IFL site. . .

BTW, any chance you can host this Cringer?

I am still confused as to what this is, since I keep reading bits and pieces here and there. But yeah it can be hosted on this server. Guys donated for a better server, I am not going to keep something for the league out of it. And we have extra allowed databases.

It is a MySQL DB with all player info, stats, injuries, transactions, and all the bells and whistles. . .

I am doing the work with the DB. . then I gotta write the import scripts to build the SQL scripts to update the DB every week. . .

And then I am going to need help with the front end. . .

The cool thing about a online DB. . is if you want to search who the best rushers are that cameout of the Big Ten, you can.

I've got a couple of ideas on the database if you're interested. There are a few leagues I've been in that have done a great job with team history, etc. I believe my AIM name is on my profile if you've got time to chat. My hours are a bit odd so it may be easier to just set up a time if you're interested.
