My useless 2 cents on this

I think I agree with Jeff in that I would not want detailed stats tracked. Overall talent tracking would be usefull/entertaining though.

Change tracker works fine - hell even I can get it too work and that means it is idiot proof.

Now having stated that - something like on those links would be so over the top awsome It would be too much to hope for. Then again the IFL home page is now pretty sweet and I would have never hoped for something like that.

edit: and Jeff is being a smart ass because he had to help me to get it to work, which I have to say was not as hard as I made it out to be.

I'm way too drunk to follow this post but I have many of the IFL zip files from the beginning... not all but I'm confident that someone else probably can "fill in the blanks" with what I dont' have.... PM me if needed as I read the forums based on the "posts since last visit" screen and might not see/remember this thread in the morning...

cool, I made a quick table last night with team definitions. . just to fresh my memory on creating tables and inserting lines. . . It takes longer to format the data file than it does to set the table up.

Looking for some feedback, for transaction logging, how many stages do you all think I should track, so far I have the following:

                          1. Begin Season - Retirements
                          2. Staff Hiring - All three stages
                          3. Tag Stage - Just Tags
                          4. Pre FA Stage - for renegs and cuts
                          5. FA Stage - for all FA stages - I could split up, but not sure it is needed
                          6. Draft Stage - Only draft transactions
                          7. Late FA & Pre TC Cuts
                          8. Ex Week 1 - includes cuts from 70 to 60
                          9. Ex Week 2
                          10. Ex Week 3
                          11. Ex Week 4
                          12. Ex Week 5
                          13. Week 1 - includes cut down from 60-53
                          14. Week 2
                          15. Week 3
                          16. Week 4
                          17. Week 5
                          18. Week 6

Id really like to help by answering your question, but i dont know what the question is.

Are you gonna output all the transactions in the leagues history?
                            I luv British womenz.

Not sure we can get all of them, since I am not sure if we have all the files .. so the dates may be scewed for 2003 and 2004.

The question is, am I missing and stages?

Not as far as I can tell. Im assuming you need the actual zipped files from each stage to do this?
