Smart move. Our drafts are about to become average and we will probably never see a QB of that skill again. But, that is alot of picks for one player. Sort of a "Stavros" deal.

I dunno, that QB gets owned by mediocre defenses a bit too often for me...even IF the new game places a lot more emphasis on QBs, I dunno if Bruce is 'the guy' but GL to ya both!

Lansing confirms. I know people will roast me for this because the new version is qb centric...but I feel that we are missing a lot of pieces. This gives us a chance to round the team out over the next 3 seasons. The new version is also more about balance.

I think there's huge risk for both teams. All depends on the new game. But that said, I think Lansing is getting low-end picks in the 1st round. Average to good players at best. Probably other teams with better picks would have made that trade. I never saw a post to trade him. Does Lansing have to eat that 48 mill in bonus?

I did not post a trade block...beez approached me. I thought the offer was more than fair, so I pulled the trigger. Wasn't interested in a bidding war.

You are correct that the value of the picks are lower, but we need so many things. The new game is all about balance, so I think we will be fine with what we got.

Gotta side with Vito here. He has never really done much as highly rated he is and has been injury prone. Think GEO would have been fine with Troutman and been able to keep all those picks. Good deal for Lansing.

We'll see how he does with some weapons. My roster is pretty stacked and somewhat deep, so I was ok with taking a chance on Bruce with hopes that he gives us that extra bit on offense.

Reports over at FOFC have very few QBs coming out of FOF7 drafts ending up at over 40 OVR. Also, the game itself seems to have been balanced so that QB is again the highest priority position.

There's a possibility all MP leagues are going to be strangely off-balance with the remaining FOF2K7 QBs for a while. The game itself seems ripe to be off-balance anytime a 90+ QB pops out whether SP or MP based on what I'm hearing. If so then hopefully Jim increases the draft's QB output in a patch.
