Good doing business with ya...Oakland now has some firepower to even out our team for the upcoming season. We have our eyes on someone at 1.1 already or we wouldn't have paid this high a price for the pick. But this will benefit Oakland for the next 10 years.

Giving an estimated value to OAK's 1st rounder next season this trade is looking about even - and an interesting example of contrasting styles - right now.
Oakland landed the stud Jave was looking for:
1.1 = Leonard Wingfield, LDT (77/96) (3rd highest rated potential player in IFL)
While I've got a reasonable comparable value split into 2 players with the future 1st being the Wild Card:
1.9 = Derek Rezac, LT (47/81) 2.11 = Majority of value in trade up to 2.5, which = Willie Bohannon, DE (34/64)

As far as first round talent goes, if your not picking top 4, good luck with that. Glad I focused on trading cause there isn't gonna be shit beyond 1-12.
1.18 awaits to sway the balance... And Phantoms have a homer waiting to be selected...
The story of this trade continues with the Wingfield injury. The "anchors" for both teams as far as this trade goes are now on the bench and the 2nd round pick (Willie Bohannan) - the lowest original valued piece involved - notched a sack in his first game as a legit starter.
If Swasey or Bohannan get injured then I'll consider this whole trade cursed.
